This ride... ohhh the memories. I rode this ride when I was like 2 and it was TERRIFYING!!! My soul was about to jump out of my body 😭😭 I hugged my dad for the majority of the time!!! I rode it a second time, I don’t know why, and I was still scared!! And at the beginning of the ride, you see Snow White with the pigeons, so my dad tried to make me not scared by saying, “Look, Leah! Look at the pigeons! Say ‘Bye, pigeons!’” He said it in Spanish. I did not want to say bye to the pigeons I was like, “NEVER MIND GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!!” But it was too late. Man... what memories. So nostalgic this video. It’s just wonderful
The scariest part was when the witch turned around to your car in the beginning, my god, that scared me when I was 5 years old, and it’s why I refused to ride the Seven Dwarves mine train until I was around 14. the Tigger part used to unnerve me as well on the Winnie the Pooh attraction, though not as bad as the witch on this ride.
It basically told the story though. It was the best at telling the whole story out of all the versions around the world. Disneyland fixed there’s the best they could, but they still weren’t able to fit in all the story elements because of the size of the show building. They at least have the happy ending now instead of it just ending with the witch dying.
Meghan And people get all pissy cause they’re redoing the ride in california when it’s literally a kids ride that’s probably scarred half of a generation across the world
They have 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, which is another ride based on Snow White. Also there are more Snow White's Scary Adventure dark rides in other parks, like Disneyland or Tokyo Disneyland.
I remember going to this ride when I was two, over ten years ago... I hid in my father’s arms and cried because it looked so dark and scary! But I do thank you for letting me see a Disney memory that no longer lives in Walt Disney World!
I went on this in 1999 and when the doors opened to show the mirror I shut my eyes for the rest of the ride, to say I was terrified is an understatement.

Some of my earliest memories are on this ride. I remember the well and the dwarves house and forcing my dads arm over my eyes. I was practically raised at Disney world but only rode this one once!

The Mine Train is really fun, but honestly? I really don't think they should have gotten rid of this ride. Why not just keep both? The Mine Train replaced the Winnie the Pooh playground, and I'm honestly depressed about that. That place was so cool.
The mine train is pretty good, but could be so much better if they had like a couple more “dark ride” kinda scenes like the mine scene. I wish the evil witch would’ve had a scary scene in that ride as a sort of homage to the classic attraction that scared the absolute crap out of so many kids, myself included lol.
I recently went back to Disney after not having been there since I was a child, and was so confused when this ride wasn’t there. I thought I imagined it.

Jacob Edward Lynch Ya getting rid of a ride for a meet and greet is not the move, even if they needed a space for all the Princess meet and greets I’m sure no one would’ve cared if they trashed a gift shop or previous meet and greet for the fairytale hall thing that’s there today
This one covers so many more scenes from the movie than the Disneyland version. I really wish they were able to do this at Disneyland but I know they can’t because the space is too small. Never been to WDW but I kinda wish this ride hadn’t closed so I could have experienced it.
That’s why I loved this version so much. It had the wishing well, Snow White with the apple, AND the happy ending. Disneyland at least added the happy ending (and made it better, which is what they SHOULD have done with WDW’s), so at least a good version of the ride exists somewhere. I still wish there could have been a way to add the other scenes in somewhere though 😢
I remember this ride!!!! I thought I was crazy lol I asked my mom before ‘you remember the scary Snow White ride at Disney?’ She didn’t have a clue what I was talkin about but THIS was it lol I was a weird kid so I loved it lol Wish they never shut it down! Also wish they never shut down Mr Toad’s Wild Ride! Loved that one!
i don't remember how old i was when i rode this, maybe four, but as soon as i saw the magic mirror, i was terrified and closed my eyes. i don't remember anything else since i kept them closed the whole time. still, that face has been imprinted in my mind for all these years, it's fun to finally see what i was missing.
Now whenever I think about, I am definitely glad I cried while I was in Disneyland when I was younger. I was scared to go to this ride as a child, but I never knew it was this bad. :D

I remember going on this ride at ages 6 thru 8. But I remember something different from this video. When my family’s ride vehicle passed the queen turning into the witch, the witch figure was already turned around facing the riders while the queen figure, on the other side of the mirror, did the same. When the vehicle passed her, the witch turned around to face the mirror while the queen didn’t move at all. That sure left me confused.
I love how this was called "snow white's adventures" and it was deemed "too scary" so they tried to "tone it down" and change the name as a warning to kids and families, but it's still horrific as a "toned down" version I can't even imagine the original!!
I'm devastated as well. Snow White was always my favorite ride and some people look past this ride since it's not from the most popular movie, but this ride encapsulated my childhood. simple as that.

Snow White is featured here more times than in the Disneyland version of the ride, lol. In our version, the ride starts off in the Dwarfs' cottage with them singing/dancing and SW watching. You leave their cottage and the Evil Queen is listening by the window. Then it's off to the Dwarfs mine, followed by the vultures and the Queen's castle/laboratory. After that, it's the forest and then the Dwarfs chasing the Hag up the cliff. And yes, the Hag pops out every now and then :)
If you really think this ride is scary, try going on Spook-a-Rama in Coney Island. That ride is 100x scarier than this ride before Disney World tore it down.
i rode this ride when i was very very little. snow white and cinderella were my favorite movies and i cried and hid on this ride because i always used to be so afraid of the witch in the movie and on this ride
all i remember from this ride is being 4 years old and TERRIFIED of snow white and i wouldn’t go on it because it said “scary adventure” and i made my parents leave the line and honestly thank god i did im 15 now and when the witch turned around my heart literally dropped
I went on this when I was seven. I was not terrified of it. But when I went on Spook-A-Rama in Coney Island, that was 100x scarier and I was terrified on that ride.
I really don't know why they couldn't have kept this ride as well as the Mine Train. This was a classic. I was so happy to ride it at Disneyland a couple of years ago.
I tried this in 2007 & in 2009. It’s a shame that this isn’t around anymore. But at least some of the original animatronics were recycled for the roller coaster version in WDW.
I rode this when I was 2 or 3 and vividly remember it as well as Dumbo (which was next to it). The witch turning around terrified me yet I made my dad take me over and over 😂
What Disney should have done was keep this ride, and made Seven Dwarfs Mine Train themed to a different Disney movie, like Sleeping Beauty. This was too good of a ride to close.
Rode this as a kid a ton of times. Started going again with my family as an adult pretty much every year since 2011. Sadly was only able to ride it once as an adult before they got rid of it. I really liked this ride along with others similar to it like Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh. I guess Seven Dwarves Mine Train is the replacement and it's an ok ride but I don't love it nearly as much. Plus IMO Thunder Mountain is better than Seven Dwarves.
I didn't know they closed this ride. It was a bit dated by the time I saw it (2008) but it's a shame that it's gone. I can imagine a lot of really cool technological updates I would make it really cool to watch

This ride is different than the Disneyland version of Snow White's Scary Adventures. It sucks that my parents and I weren't able to fly down Orlando, FL to ride this dark ride before it closed, because hurricanes broke out multiple times. It's such a shame that it's not open anymore in the Magic Kingdom. 👍🏻 if you agree with me in a sad way.
My Mom and Dad never made me go to Disney land. I want to go there. I missed out. Am crying. Why can't I just go back in time to were Disneyland opened.
Yes, it was scary, but it was one of the best rides at Walt Disney World and I miss it every time I go there. I went to WDW the first summer it was open, as a child of 7, and this ride scared me (in a good "entertaining" way). I can't believe that they would tear it down for a "Princess Meet and Greet" center. I mean, that's just ridiculous! A crime against humanity! I go to WDW much less frequently as a result. Thank God this ride still exists at Disneyland. It's still the highlight of my visits there.
Does this ride have an alligator in it? I’m tryna rememver a ride I went on around 2010 and it was one of the only ones and it had an alligator on it at the end like a fake one obv

I’m tryna rememver a ride I went on around 2010 and it was one of the only ones and it had an alligator on it at the end like a fake one obv
i’m glad i’m not the only one completely traumatized by this😭
I remember being terrified of this as a kid
I loved this ride when I was a kid
Not me
I first rode this ride in december of 1987 at Disneyland in California and then in qss 1988 at walt disney world in Florida.
i wish that i could ride on snow white's scary adventures.
The mirror literally traumatized me, became one of my core memories till I was like 10
i miss this ride sm
I’d do anything to ride this one last time, along with the Great Movie Ride and Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride
I think it’s the queen’s eyes that scared me... and the music... I screamed the whole time I was on the ride 😭😭😭😭
Back when it wasn't Snow White's Enchanted Wish and was entertaining and fun for everyone. Good dark ride
What did they replace this with? Such a great ride.
They replaced it with The Seven Dwarfs train
すごいおもろそう!!
日本より、ストーリーがしっかりしてる気がする…😍👍
