Unfortunately my surgery got postponed 2 days before it was going to happen due to the covid virus... the hospital cancelled all surgeries and procedures until further notice and mine was just 2 days away. So I'm still living in excruciating pain and having horrendous bleeding almost daily. No idea when they will be able to do my surgery now. My surgeon said shell he have me top of her list as I was cancelled so close to my date. I hope and pray its not too long of a wait but I have a feeling I may be awhile.
Rachel Elizabeth oh I’m so sorry !! I thought maybe that might have been the case ! I’ll hope things can resume so the pain can be put to and end soon! I’m sorry this happened , I’m thinking of you ! Your a warrior! ❤️✨

It was for sure hard to receive that call. I knew it was a possibility but I thought I may just get in under the wire but I didnt. My surgeon felt horrible cancelling. Shes wonderful. I'm trying to be tough and remind myself I will be free of pain and the surgery will happen its just a little longer. But somedays are harder then others..

Hi Jes, I hope you are doing well. And have fully recovered. I just had my hysterectomy 5 days ago. I have a question how long did it take for the bloating to go away.
Hi Wendy ! I hope you doing well with recovery ! I would say it was probably about a month until I felt like pain from swelling / bloating had gone down. The gas pain and bloating feeling from that was probably about a week of on an off discomfort ! I’m having mine November 12 I’m

I just had my surgery on Monday and came home Tuesday. I am anemic. The issue that I'm having is that I feel light headed or a little dizzy. I can't look back and forth. And sometimes I start to feel weak. Did you experience any of this?
Hi! I hope surgery went well ! I’m also anemic and felt dizzy for the first little while, I felt very weak for a few weeks , it was probably 5 ish weeks before I could do regular things again. This is major surgery , make sure your resting as much as you can !!! Best of luck ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I was wondering if you can douch after a total hysterectomy?
I’m not a medical professional , but NOTHING goes in the vagina for about 8 weeks afterward , or until your dr has cleared you . Really you should never douche , the vagina is set cleaning , and it can actually cause infection and issues with your ph balance
