  • Hi! I’m Jes, a mama of toddlers, a loss mama, an Endo Warrior, and someone who believes human connection can heal us !
I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy on December 20th 2019.
I’m starting my RUclips channel with no experience, and learning along the way! I can’t promise all my content will be endo/ hysterectomy related , but I can promise I will always be authentic, and have real conversations about the stuff that’s hard to talk about , including loss, grief, parenthood and being a human !
Thank you all for the support so far! If you want to chat with me privately, here’s my contact info !

This was a very helpful video. I am 18 dpo. Feeling stir crazy and guilty for taking so much time to recover. I am glad I found this video before I pushed myself too soon. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing this! I’m on day 16 po and I have been feeling the same way as you. I have definitely been over doing it so thanks for the reminder.

I really enjoy this video, I’m going into my 3rd week of recovery and still having no energy, happily I don’t have children to worry about, can’t imagine if I had more than myself to take care of.

I’m right there with you. I’m laid up still. I was hoping I’d be feeling better by now. I was having a cramping sensation today. My husband had to take more time off to take care of the kids. I hope I feel better soon.

I totally thought doing nothing but resting for the first 2 weeks was more then enough , but I was so wrong! I had to get my husband to do the same, I’m thinking healing thoughts for you !

I have my surgery in march and my dr has said a few times that ill be fine in a week and my husband is really listening to that but I keep saying I'll need more time .. I know I'll need to take it easy longer even tho I hate sitting still.
    Hugs and love.

I’m 7 weeks from surgery today , and I was actually thinking about it today , and it feel like the time I spent recovering went by so quickly. But it the moment sitting still is very hard ! Listen to your body, depending on what your normal day looks like you may need some extra help , but if your caring your yourself you should be able to manage after a week!

@@jes44444 thank you so much. I have 3 kids at home plus a dog and a cat .. so I will probably need some help with the littlest children and the huge dog. But I'm hoping it goes better then I have been imagining in my head.

@@jes44444 thank you again so much
I found your videos so helpful and real. So many videos just werent helpful.. I'm definitely ready to get this ready and over with. It's also nice finding someone that was at the same hospital I'm going too. I have my preop on less then a month then hopefully time flies and I can just get this over with. I'm so over the pain and bleeding etc.

Im 5 days post op, and im really trying to rest. Im supposed to be off of work for the next 37 days so im really trying to remind myself to rest when the weeks go by although i may be feeling normal sometimes....

Resting was my biggest struggle, especially when you do feel even a little better it feels silly to not go and run an errand or clean the house . It was a long haul, but now almost 4 months post op it , I know it was so worth it ! I’m with you , you got this !!!!

😩 I’m one week post op single mommy. I’ve resumed mommy duties on day 3 sent home with a catheter because of bladder blockage. I was feeling so good I just ran around doing my normal duties, got my catheter out yesterday. I now have a major bladder infection and I’m in so much pain. I go back to work as well in a couple days. I bit off more than I could chew.
