And look at the chair throw, he tossed it harmlessly over at the the out of bounds cheerleader area and they saw it coming a mile away and it was a light-weight chair. he knew what he was doing. and he grabbed at Neil Reed's throat but didn't squeeze it , he just moved him a little bit. he did not choke the air out of Neil Reed. How many more false stories do you want me to correct? he head-butted his own son, not another player, was it right to head-butt him, NO, but get the story straight.

All that said if I had a son who was a great player I would not have wanted him to play for coach Knight

Horrible taste and take to focus on the flaws of a true legend at the time of his death. “It is not the critic who counts; nor the one who points out how the strong person stumbled, or where the doer of a deed could have done better.” The credit belongs to the person who is actually in the arena; the doer of deeds.” Knight was a man among men who did things the right way unapologetically. History will remember the General and not his critics.

I know people are gonna spend the night kissing Knight's ass and saying that placing the anger management and physical and verbal violence on his players aside... the dude was a legend.... JOHN WOODEN WAS A LEGEND... and he didn't abuse his players... this is why I'm proud my son is at UCLA... a school with integrity and respect of its athletes.... Bob Knight was coddled by a state and an administrative staff of scared SYCHOPHANTS... it ain't the world's fault Knight pissed away his career. There's a way to coach where you leave your mark on the people who looked up to you... with reverence and admiration... and then there's a way that leave's your career as a cautionary tale.... HE'S LUCKY... LUCKY HE DIED TODAY... AND NOT IN THE HANDS OF ONE OF HIS PLAYERS...because if I was one of his former players... different ending.
