This was the bike to have in the 90s, green paint and pink stickers.
I LOVE every one of these episodes...literally like a meditation...THANK YOU for putting these out!
I had this bike in 1992. Though it was lime green with a dark blue fade. Paid $1100 which was a lot back then. Great ride. The one and only.
takes me back 😊.. memories when i used to fix my own bikes like this... 👍watching this is like walking back in memory lane...
A period correct build with packaging brings me back to that bike… fat chance frames set was the one…..love it
That flimsy ol Onza box was gratifying 😁
@@mikegleim5241 Something wonderful about those cheap cardboard boxes stuff used to come in.
Wow... this took me back to when no one worried about tyre pressures or how much your bike weighed! One of the best ones yet Gee!!!!!
I worked in a bike shop from early to late 90s. A lot of those parts were the cream of the crop. I almost forgot that Campy had a line of Mountain parts. Those were not very popular. I still have a bunch of mid 90s parts brand new. Machine Tech brakes White Industries cranks etc. I dreamed to be able to buy a Fat Chance😀 Great to see Chris is back at it but still more than I want to afford.
Campy was so expensive and rare. To see he has parts in black, head explodes!!!!!!
it´s a big i needtohavethisbikerightnow feeling.
Don't see many Campag ATB groupset parts any more, that WAS a treat. Thank you.
It was a tricky job painting this but very rewarding now it’s a true dreambuild😎
This is so cool 😍
Very nostalgic. Thanks!
Great and fantastic job!!
This is amazing dude. The proof that you know everything about this bikes world. What a pleasure to see this low tech. I love this.
retro build best build
If I didn't know better, I'd think this video was made on the late 80's early 90's with all the old school components and rigid frame set....Triple chain rings??? That died many years ago...I have not one but two 26" Ventana XC race bikes...from days way gone by...Like some said below....these video's are like meditating.....I had the exact same hubs on my Yo Eddy.....which was also rigid and had rim brakes....Mine was all white and splattered with black ....,loved that bike...Chris Chance knows his stuff!
Love it....😍😍😍
Beautiful. One of my dream bikes, any Chance bike!
peace of mind at it's best
Mantap mas....SEPEDAH...nya👍👍👍
Those were the days!
Love from India
Wow this bike really has fantastic colours on it. I have quite a few older mountain bikes and it’s sad to see the bright colours and flashy graphics have disappeared and been replaced with black and greys they all seem to be now. One day soon I’ll build up a bike I’ve been dreaming of a long time, a very early Klunker and it will be RAD!
Perfect👌🏼
Awesome✨💞
Love from INDIA Bro

Why you don’t do a maintenance video ?
Why he didn`t polish the bike when finished, as he do usually?

Name a song please
Can you build for also a MTB
12'47" (!)
the bike is great, the building is clean...but this video editing is soporific with this honeyed music!
I may be an enthusiast, but this video montage would be watchable, in my opinion, if we removed all the long shots without interest. This would bring it back to an effective 30" spot.

تتت
- GREAT FRAME + FORK
- RUBBISH CAMPAGNOLO PARTS - campa didn't make functional mtb parts.
Are you trolling us old school mechanics with how badly you set up the front brake cables? Do you need some old school mechanical assistance - have you set up cantilever brakes before?
Thank you, just my thoughts as well. Same as the spring settings on the lower hole both front and rear cantis. Mushy brakes with little return respons :-)
My god that was atrocious. Time for v brakes already!!
God I would kill for this bike! Vintage new in the box parts. Campy in black-are you effing kidding me! Nuke proof hub set! Did I say I would kill for this bike?
