  • 2nd half of Mark Walker with the 25 litre V8 1905 Darracq at Forde Abbey with family of the late former owner, race driver and record breaker Sir Algernon Guinness. In this clip Mark continues his explanation of the car's history and some aspects of its build and capability. Finishes with a clip of the car being driven by Mark with Sir Algernon's son-in-law aboard, and then a clip taken from the passenger seat by Sir Algernon's grandson -- Simon Hall -- who shot most of this video.

Brilliant, car, driver and the enthusiasm. Love it. Mark, thanks so much for allowing the enthusiasts to see these things which could so easily be trapped in museums.

A wild and wooly ride for sure. A shame it was a one off. The tiniest blip of the throttle looks to propel it to insane speeds.
