Good job, however I found the background music a little too loud and distracting. Made a little difficult at times to understand you. Maybe just you explaining your recipe might be just enough.
Thank you for the no peanut butter!!! I'm going to substitute buckwheat for chickpea flour . I was reading its great for dogs and an easy protein to digest with other nutrients good for them . Love how its not a million ingredients !
Absolutely beautiful wonderful video. I have two golden retrievers brother and sister about 10 years old she started limping a little bit and it got worse in about 3 or 4 days took her to the vet and bone cancer and they had to remove her leg 5 days from the time it started it was the most excruciating pain to her and she was so happy how long she's going to make it who knows but I'm trying to do everything I can so feeding them right changing their diet mine too of course. It's only been a little over a week since the surgery it's like she don't even miss the lake she's a happy camper already running playing and that's a big wound. Thank you for the video in the hard work
Don't feed your dog any store bought dog food. Raw, turkey, beef, salmon...no chicken. Most abundant..organ meats. Balance of right veggies, no flours. Flax quinoa good Small amout berries. Omega 3's. Research. I have a dying dog. Cancer. Another has heart problem. I thought I was feeding them well....spent alot of $$$ on "natural" food dry and can. I actually am killing them! I am very sad. Also, unnecessary vacines and flea/ tick medication I believe is bad for them. My cancer dog- I am treating her with dog wormer fenbendazole protocol I found on line...hope pray it works. Good luck to your baby.
Lovely! I’m definitely making these biscuits for my pups! I love the way you speak to your doggie and how you make him part of your video. Thanks for sharing skills and info.
Thanks for sharing. A question, what can I subs the buckwheat flour with? A suggestion for future videos, please leave iut the music it drowns out the pronunciation of your words.
Best recipe I've found so far, egg is probably better for dogs, seeds aren't necessarily good for them... not sure there's been enough research on it, but seeds can contribute to anxiety in a digestive system that isn't balanced properly with healthy microbiota...
Wow this is a great recipe , i have 2 older dogs and im definitely trying this out . tobe honest i think im gonna make me a batch as well . All these ingredients are a win win for me and my baby bella & my rusty. Tyvm for sharing. Just a quick opinion if we all snacked on these treats instead of snickers or twix we would all be alot healthier
My puppy Abi LOVES these treats! I'm going to use these for crate training. I used whole wheat flour, and they turned out great! Thanks for the recipe!
Ok we have banana, carrots , no chia but we have flax seeds which are just as good and no buck wheat flour but we have chick pea flour , won’t use the coconut oil as she appears to be allergic to it once consumed , GREAT these look cool . It’s my little friends birthday tomorrow so guna try these for her and a trip to her favourite place lol the beach 😂 THANK YoO . Your wee friend is so lovely , every time their tail wagged it made me smile . Your very cute together ♥️🐾😄
Thank you for sharing! You are too cute and no one I am sure would care very much if you make any mistakes. Keep making videos, much success in all your endevours.
I made treats out of a soft taco shell, and so far two of mine and my familys dogs loved them and their names were Cutesey and Baby. Babywas a stray. We found her at our Harveys and adopted her.
Honestly giving a dog is a better choice because as long as they like the ingredients and its not dog food they'll eat it. You don't have to put a whole lot of sugar. They don't sort out taste completely. It more of just if they like or don't like it.
My dog loves these. i think i overcooked the first round and might have confused buckwheat flour with another grain because of translation issues. thanks!
Oh this is perfect! It's my dogs 1st birthday tomorrow so I wanted to make him some yummy treats, and bananas and carrots are his favorite! I might even add a little bit of organic peanut butter to the top of them. I don't have buckwheat flour, can I use almond flour? I have almond flour and regular flour.
Coconut flour absorbs A LOT of liquid, so you need to use less & is a great source of protein... Coconut flour is safe for dogs and especially healthy for diabetic dogs or dogs with high cholesterol as it helps to regulate blood sugar levels.
I made these with coconut flour just now but I must be missing something? My mixture didn't turn out nice and doughy like yours, it's kinda crumbly - anyone else have this issue?
Coconut flour is highly absorbent. You probably need more liquid if you are subbing it for a grain flour (ie the buckwheat in this recipe). Another comment here also says to simply use less of the coconut flour. A little bit goes a long way for coconut flour.
It looked like you may have sort of torn them, not "broken" them, so I'm wondering if they're not more on the soft side. I notice things like that, because I don't give my 3 soft treats. Thank you for sharing the video with us.
Hi there, you mentioned they can be kept in an airtight container. I assume they don't need refrigeration? I would think that them having banana & carrots that you do😕
I love this list of ingredients. Could you give me suggestions for making the final product come out with a softer/chewier texture - I want to use tiny amounts to use as training treats, so I plan to cook the whole thing (uncut) on a cookie sheet and then cut with a pizza cutter into 1/4" squares.
Tried this today. It was super sticky so I used another cup of buckwheat flour for my second batch and it was better....the treats themselves are really plain but dogs love them
Hi Isabel, I'm sorry to hear that the dough came out sticky. Good thinking to add more buckwheat flour then. I'm happy to hear that the dogs loved them anyways. 😊
If you use buckwheat flour then it is grain-free. If you use other flours, make sure they are grain-free. Most gluten-free flours are very starchy, which is would not recommend.
1 very ripe banana
2 shredded carrots
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp chia seeds
3 tbsp water
1 cup Buckwheat flour
-Grate 2 carrots
-Mix chia seeds with water and let stand 10 minutes
-peel and mash banana with a fork
-add coconut oil to the banana and mix
-add buckwheat and mix
-add carrots and mix
-add chia seeds and mix
-add buckwheat flour and mix
-Mix everything together, if it is too sticky, add a bit more of the buckwheat flour
- roll out the dough inbetween parchment papers
-cut cookies
-place cookies on a parchment lined baking sheet
-bake at 360 for 15 - 20 minutes
-let cool before feeding to your dog
-store up to a month in an airtight container
Thank you so much for writing it down!
I second that. Thanks
Thanks, I can't hear well and the captions are often wrong
Good job, however I found the background music a little too loud and distracting. Made a little difficult at times to understand you. Maybe just you explaining your recipe might be just enough.
I totally agree, outside of the music being TOTALLY annoying........who wants to listen to kids music ? and during a cooking show, no less.......
Good recipe . I will try for my dogs . Thanks a lot .
me, too. repetetive and irritating music turns me off.
I love how her dog is watching her cook waiting for her to be done
Your voice is lovely and music to our ears. It's a shame we can't hear it so well due to background music though. Thanks for the great recipe!
Great video, I'm definitely gonna try this out. However, the background music was a little too loud and made it hard to hear what you were saying.
Thank you for the no peanut butter!!! I'm going to substitute buckwheat for chickpea flour . I was reading its great for dogs and an easy protein to digest with other nutrients good for them . Love how its not a million ingredients !
How much chickpea flour did you use? The same amount?
Nice recipe, thanks! No peanut butter for a change, will make it.

I don't know who's holding the camera, but your dog really likes them!
Music is too loud while you're talking, a little hard to hear you :) Great video though!
Thanks for sharing. A question, what can I subs the buckwheat flour with? A suggestion for future videos, please leave iut the music it drowns out the pronunciation of your words.
Thanks for the ideas, but I could have done without the music as it drowned out your voice.
Lynda Holloway I hate that, I wish they would stop with the music.
For your convenience a link with the recipe was left in the description area.
Too bad you didn't notice.
🤷
I can’t stop living your badass kitchen. Where are you from ?

Hi, there have any specific flour for Pets or can use normal wheat/all purpose flour ??
Do we need to refrigerate it or not?
these seems good also for human not only for the doggies'. is a good idea to use banana in the cookies instead of sugar or any sugar alternative.
Where did you get the coconut oil? Can you please link it? Thank you!!
How many days can we store the treats and how
Could I use oat flour?
Can I ask how long the dog treats last, will they expire in a sort time and are they suitable for puppies

Can you add just normal flour

How cute
do you dead the chia seeds
Can you use gluten free flour insted of buckwheat? Thanks.
If you use buckwheat flour then it is grain-free. If you use other flours, make sure they are grain-free. Most gluten-free flours are very starchy, which is would not recommend.
