Seriously glad you made this video. Very helpful. But why is it important to hold off till you have at least eight works of art? I want to make videos for each painting and put them on my website so I figured finish painting, make video and put them on the website. Looking forward to the next one.
Well certainly don't feel like you have to hold my word like the gospel 😆 What I meant by 8 is just to make sure people have at least a small variety of things to look at if they take the time to go to your website. you know, 2-3 pieces of art could tend to look a little lonely on a whole website of their own... But of course if you are providing videos along side your work, or perhaps if someone does sculpture or installation pieces that requires lots more time/photos to look at then having less is totally fine. I would just wait until you feel that you have enough so that anyone who visits your website doesn't feel like they just walked into an empty room :)
I've been updating my website this week actually! Great ideas you have are the contact form for custom work! I spend so much time on quotes that never happen - this can weed people out!
Yay perfect timing! Yes, I have def found that having a form helps separate folks that are more serious from those that are just dreaming...Glad I could help!
