    cut into chunks, add salt, high pressure 8 minutes. natural release. 1 cup water

    I JUST made these (used a 5 lbs of russets + 1/4 C. Water and bummed up the time to 10 minutes) and WOW WOW WOW easiest mashed potatoes I’ve ever made and the best tasting! Thank you! Forever grateful! 🤎

      @@Mrms661 I did! I used what her recipe called for plus a 1/2 teaspoon more. Also added butter and a bit of cream cheese.

    Your pots must be more hardy than ours as the timings are only 4mins for maris piper potatoes when I do them just boiled and larger pieces. But its great to use the instant pot instead of a stovetop pan once you know your own timings.

      Your sarcastic question was just that....sarcastic. Because if people used milk then wouldn't it stand to reason that they either didn't know it toughened the potatoes or simply don't think that it does?
