Tony Buzan has a short 90 page book called: Use Your Head: How To Unleash The Power Of Your Mind, its the best thing I've read on learning even though I'm currently on my second run through of a cognitive science text book. Buzans book doesn't get into speed reading until around page 70 but he talks about techniques that work amazingly that cognitive sciences doesn't even consider (basically; use your finger. Your eyes aren't designed to follow lines, they're designed for tracking prey). I highly recommend his book to anyone wanting to improve their learning abilities. This was a really cool experiment, thank you for sharing. :)

As an 18 year old who is in his last year of high-school ,I just want to give my deepest gratitude for igniting my passion for learning and studying. This is all completely new to me since before I just wasted my time scrolling on social media or playing video games. Since watching your videos I have become obsessed about subjects such as history, philosophy and of course getting deeply involved in my preparation for my final exams that are in 6 months time.
I just want to thank you for changing my view on learning and I wish you all the best :)

Thank you! I am so glad it is helping and I hope you are enjoying the subjects! Best of luck with your exams

It sounds like going to a party with 100 people and memorizing all their names before the night is over. Anyone can do it, believe it or not. But what you can't do at that party, is make any friends.

Exactly! This is just the sort of thing I was getting at with my final point. I love the party analogy!

hiehie. I'm proud when I manage to read 52 books a year. and even then I feel like I sometimes rush through what could have been better read slower. I deeply dislike speed-reading. I'm way too in love with words. Recently I've taken to reading (and mostly, rereading) up to 15 pages each of multiple books every (other) day. Don't know how many books I'll get through but it sure does encourage deep reading.

What do you do professionally? What do you do for your clients? You are an amazingly inspiring young man!! I'm twice your age, at least, and yet find your wisdom surpasses my own. Keep on - you're really helping people.

Thank you for your kind words! I largely help people with their learning projects. For instance if someone was learning a foreign language in adulthood and needed someone both for accountability and to set learning goals and outline strategies for achieving them, then I would help with that. I use the techniques I have honed both for myself and working with clients over the years to make it so people can learn most efficiently and effectively.
I also help people with their academic pursuits in school and university, be it through tutoring or by giving feedback on their research theses.

    The video is amazing!! ❤
But just a quick advice, as an editor, i would suggest not to add subtitles in your video it can sometimes degrade video quality, instead don't add or use some less chunky font.
    Apprentice your work.
