Big thanks for your video, I recent bought a van identical to yours and it was already lifted, after crawling around under it I think they used the same lift, looks like 1 inch in front and a 2 inch spacer in teh back but it sits level and looks nice, you answered a lot of questions.
Wow, this is perfect for me! Have an '00 E-150 hightop (old & over 200K mi. but in great shape....and yes I have had, but fixed on all eight now, the blown spark plug issue!) purchased that way a coupla years ago as a bare-bones & low-cost mobile office. But now decided we'll turn it into a camper/weekender van for wife & I. Problem is, even w the hightop (which is more stylish but not as super-high as others), my 6'-0" ht. means my head always bent over significantly; a dealbreaker for this use as far as I'm concerned. Have discovered how wheelchair conversion cos. drop the floor on these Econolines (just the width of the side barn doors, between major floorpan supports) about 4" which is the gap they have above frame. But I need to also add these critical 2 more inches for my height; not interested in making it look all "off-road-y", just 2". Great to see how easy AND cheap to do this!! Thank you!
Thanks so much for this. How do these spacers affect handling? I’m looking at doing this so I can fit slightly larger tires in my daily driver econoline but i don’t want to severely affect the ride quality, thx!
I did exactly as you did on my 2003 e 250 2 inch and I have adjustable caster camber like you do and at allighnment shop they said I needed to have adjustable ball joints . Am I missing something . I replaces ball joints with MOOG HEAVY DUTY ones . Thank you for any help u can provide !!!
@@cartsquads47 You're the first person I seen who used F150 spacers. Most people going for the 2 inch lift are going for the Ford Parts One Kits so I want to share these 2 options for people who don't want to spend $3000+ on the 5 inch lifts
@John Drives Anything that's why I shared it! The only other budget option was the Fordpartsone kit. And this is even way cheaper than that lol. I ended up getting even longer bolts and an even larger spacer. Now I have a 3" lift on front. I'll post a updated video on my current setup in about an hour.

@@cartsquads47 thank you C&Q.. I have a 97 E350 class b van.. I will use this kit to lift the front.. please can you share info on a kit to lift the rear Cheers
Hey C&Q, I bought this same kit for my ‘03 E450, but Ford uses a M20 bolt so the 3/4 thread Extenders don’t fit as you noted. I’m concerned that the smaller dia. 3/4” stud will wear the knuckle spindle oblong. Thoughts? I’m having trouble finding a longer M20 partial thread bolt at 230mm+.
@@cartsquads47 👍🏼I realized after I commented that it’s not pivoting on that bolt. I found a local supplier that had M20 bolts, so I’m putting those in. Thx
I ended up buying 265/75/16 because I was told they would clear, but they didn't. I had to trim the fenders just a tad bit. No big deal though. I'll be doing an updated video of my van here soon.
@@pinkfiffty3094 I had issues rubbing after I had put the 265's on. The stock tires were perfect with no issues. I actually ended buying an even larger 3" spacer after I put the tires on. Now I have no rubbing.
@@cartsquads47 Hmm that's interesting I've hear alot of people run the 265/75/16 even some with stock height and no rubbing but seems like it should be no rubbing especially with a 2" lift I do known from one tire manufacture to another they can be a little bit different. Also could be your wheel width and offsett affecting the rubbing along with if spring are sagging or maybe it wasn't a true 2" lift(since you said the springs were bowing a little bit may be an indicator that it was your springs sagging a bit). Anyways glad you hot it figured out. If I absolitely need to on mine I'll just do a little trimming/massaging but only if necessary. When you went with the 3" lift did you change shocks?
@@pinkfiffty3094 yeah i think mine had a lot to do with the offset of my wheel, I'm still using the stock shocks, and I went with some 2 piece ball joint adjusters to get camber / castor adjusted just right.
@@mldn007 oh I mis understood. I though you meant the wheel spacers. Yea that's fine, I only lifted the front of my van. The back was left all original. I ended up using 3" lift spacers on the front with longer bolts. If you check my channel I had 2 or 3 videos on that setup.
@@paintthetownrad1901 I don't take mine on trails so I'm not really sure. I mainly did mine for looks, and the tires do solve the problem of me getting stuck in grass all the time. But I never truly go off roading with it.
this is the wrong way you have nothing holding the track bar to axle it's going to walk back and forth causing wear in track bar bolt hole, second factory bolts are metric thats why nut had play. you needed shorter bolts to make the bolts pull tight on track bar, or buy a more high quality kit that come with everything.
You have absolutely no idea what your talking about. There are NO front axles on the front of these vans. These have spindles and I beams. Go troll somewhere else!
The best video on how to install a leveling kit on a ford E350's , thank you so much for taking the time to put up this video

Ride quality is a tad bit stiffer than usual. But it's not to bad. This van was my daily driver. I sold it unfortunately. I'm missing it already.
Great video. The link for the spacers claims it will not work on econoline vans with twin I beam front end. Have you experienced any problems?
Thanks, No I didn't have any issues at all on my van. I'm not sure why it says that.

I didn't have to do that one mine, I didn't even change my ball joints at all. All i.did was use the camper / Castor adjusters.

I made that one. Pretty sure I have a video for it on here somewhere.

@John Drives Anything the only thing extra I got was the longer bolts, and the castor adjusters.
Right on just purchased the kit and need to find those 3/4 8 inch bolts.
Did you find them and where?🙂
Tractor supply has them
Couldn't you buy a longer bolt so you don't need that threaded piece on the end?
Yes you sure can, I just couldn't find one that long.
My thought exactly
I have a e150 I'm just going to go ahead and get e250 or E350 springs and pop those in
20 mm 10 inches long bolt i have to buy for a 3 inches lift
If I have the e350 van should I order spacers for a f350?
I need to lower my E250. It is about an inch too tall to fit in my garage.
How about shorter tires?
Nice think will fit my 09 e350 super duty?
I would have changed the shocks while I was in there.
Love it looks mint
