Just made these with naan. So good! My blackstone has a hood so I used that instead of basting cover because the naan was too long. Turned the heat off once the bottom was crispy enough to let the cheese melt with the hood down.
I do these all the time, but in a cast iron pan. Definitely have to try on my Blackstone. I usually use @mission carb balance 4 net grams carb. I also usually crisp first side, flip then build. Lost 75# eating these flavor bombs. The options are endless. Like grilled chicken, olive oil, garlic and parmesan cheese. Great job.
I'll try these if you try my pizzas! My mom used to make these for me as a kid. Heat up the griddle to medium heat. Butter one side of two slices of bread. Put one of them butter down on the BS. Add pizza sauce to the slice on the griddle. Add shredded mozzarella and any toppings. Top with the other slice of bread and cook like a grilled cheese. They're quick, easy, and tasty!

The griddle won’t be in till early August but I am definitely making these griddle pizzas after a few cooks to help build the seasoning on my new griddle! What a fantastic Fathers Day gift!

This may seem like a silly comment, but if loading a full griddle of pizza, Why not just use the full cover that comes with the griddle to trap steam instead of one at a time with steam cover?
Love making pizzas on my griddle. I do not make my own crust but I use a flat bread that I get from Sam's club. They come in packs of 10 or so. Set the griddle to low and let if heat up. Make up your pizzas and set them on the griddle take all of 5 min to make or until the crust gets as crispy as you like.

I use a frying pan with a cover on low until cheese is melted ten increase heat with cover off till i get the bottom the color i want.
