    I’m rated 100% PTSD, 40% hearing loss and 10% tinnitus. They gave me 70% for PTSD I thought I such have been rated higher 2 months after I filed for a increase got my C&P and 4 days after my C&P they rated me 100%. No one should give up if you deserve it.

      What about tinnitus? There are 5 excellent secondary claims that a veteran could file. (1) mental health (2) migraines (3) vertigo (4) hearing loss (5) meneries disease.

      Yes Alfred, if your back is at 10, it’s likely your best bet to go ahead and attack a substantial increase on that as well as reevaluate your entire claim as a whole to see if there’s any further optimization to be done

    • @vaclaimsacademy

      If you were diagnosed during your active duty service, absolutely you need to.

  • @Full_Spectrum_Threat_solutions

    I got a few non-service-related responses. I go into the military without it, I come back with it seems service related to me. I deploy without it, return with it... also seems service related to me. I have never had a decent experience at the VA. 10 years active, 20 more in the Guard. I just won't let them talk to me like they think I am trying to steal their wallet. it been 10+ years since I set foot in that godforsaken hospital. even had the DAV guy write it up for me.... Whatever.. I ain't begging them for sh*t. Sorry for ranting, I feel better now..

    • @vaclaimsacademy
      @vaclaimsacademy  Год назад

      I hear you there… In my experience DAV and other “free” resources are more miss than hit, and it ends up costing vets lots of cash per month.
      The absence of profit incentive helps create a very lackluster service on average.
      Yep the VA wants to convince you that you’re crazy and that there’s no evidence for what you’re saying. It’s exhausting. But you can win with a focused effort. Cheers

    VA Math 30%+20%+20% bilateral factor 3.6% =58% round up 60% rating not 70%..just saying...

    • @brianp454
      @brianp454 Год назад +1

      30%+20%+20% as stand alone and would yield 55.2% assuming no other disabilities using "VA Math." I think what VA Claims Academy is saying that bilateral can prevent "VA Math" from applying. Can you elaborate on how bilateral factor is calculated?

    • @juanguzman8034
      @juanguzman8034 Год назад

      This is correct math the point is that bilateral factor makes a low value claim into a bigger percentage essentially doubling.

    Got a bad back, yes, but how can I prove military caused it?

    • @vaclaimsacademy
      @vaclaimsacademy  Год назад +2

      By filing a simple supplemental claim with your new back pain diagnosis claimed as a secondary to a pre-existing service-connected condition. As long as a physician opines the chances are at least as likely as not that your back pain could have been caused by the aforementioned service-connected condition, you have what is called a "nexus." Don't go at this shooting in the dark, invest in expert coaching, but NOT a lawyer or a contingency service looking to charge you 5 figures $$$. It's worth spending a couple of hundred on a solid online video module course and a Nexus Statement to really grease the wheels and give you a step-by-step. Same thing you are doing here on RUclips but more more efficient with a clear vector. Cheers Johnny, go get the passive income you earned

    • @vaclaimsacademy
      @vaclaimsacademy  Год назад

      Hey Mike Degnan, thanks for commenting. From the sounds of it, I would personally go Ah read and opt for a Supplemental Claim as the wait time for an Appeal with the BVA is YEARS.
      I hope you don’t mind a little tough love here, but whoever was helping you submit your claim was either not super talented or didn’t really care about your claim. There’s no way on planet earth someone would go through my curriculum and end up with 30% for PTSD, I don’t think they even bothered making you write a personal statement and submitting it with your records on form 21-4138…
      The good news is that you can easily get 70% for your ptsd which is a massive increase alone, but then we should claim sleep apnea as a secondary to your already existing back pain using a nexus.
      Oh, and back pain is my specialty, I award an average of 60% for my students using the C&P exam strategy in tandem with bilateral radiculopathy.
      So for you it’s Ptsd 30 to 70% = +40%
      Back 10% increased to 60% = 50% increase
      Sleep apnea needs nexus letter so I won’t count that to be conservative.
      You’re a great candidate to head over to vaclaims-academy.com
      Spend a couple hours going through the short & sweet modules giving you the step-by-step of the strategy I just outlined, download the fully pre-written personal statement templates written by yours truly, plug in your info and submit this supplemental claim the RIGHT way.
      Seems like it’ll make you high hundreds to maybe even an extra $1,000 per month tax free from the sounds of it.
      Cheers Mike

      I never encourage lying to the VA. Despite the fact that they lie all the time about us service members, they have the federal government on their side and being fraudulent is not playing chess.
      Playing chess & not checkers means TRANSLATING your real ailments in to the LANGUAGE that the VA operates in.
      Strategy is a must for those who wish to get what they were promised as part of the fulfillment of their military contract. Cheers David
