I asked question to fellow YT channel . He said I needed a DBQ . I submitted a recent IMO/buddy statement for non combat mental health . I thought DBs are filled out by the C&P examiner . Never heard of anyone needed a DBQ, maybe in some cases
In my experience, the VA essentially ignored the DBQ I paid for when I was going through the process… I think they’re just something else the “services” can charge vets for
I didn't say anything negative or bad, but youtube just flagged my comment for saying I went to DAV for them to submit my application. Are you serious youtube?
when i go on tricare online theres nothing there about my mental health records? it seems like everything is there except my dental records and behavioral health. how do i get my behavioral health records? i did go to behavioral health when i was in fort campbell but it was 12 years ago the building was demolished and they made new offices. should i call the new building and tell them i know they have it? i might have to just start over luckily im still in the army now so i can start over again and make sire i have the records before the bdd claim
Trying to get those documents will be like pulling teeth and they’ve probably conveniently misplaced them. I’d schedule an appointment with BH ASAP and ask them for a referral to Mental Health where THERE you can get your diagnosis. Stay consistent! The last year of your enlistment is for doctors appointments and transitioning
Lol I submitted in November of 2022 and only recently got the privilege of going to do my exams. By recently i mean I scheduled it 2-3 weeks ago and only finished last weekend. Almost at 9 months of “gathering evidence”
Jolly Green, is this how you write what? If it’s a diagnosis you’re claiming, you claim the diagnoses that are in your medical records. If it says “lumbosacral strain” you make a claim for “lumbosacral strain”
@@jollygreen4662 You copy the diagnoses word for word that the doctor has given you in your records. No need to get cute by changing things. Are you filing for an increase? Because if so, I would advise some caution as it seems like whoever is helping you file your claim may not be showing you properly. Be very careful filing for an increase without all your ducks confidently in a row because I see vets do that and end up actually waiting many months just to ultimately get their rating reduced. So please make sure to keep asking questions like this and educating yourself to make sure we have what it takes to really maximize this claim in one go
@@vaclaimsacademy i believe i know how to write down what to claim in those boxes in 21-526 page 11. Except for head shoulder knees and toe. I have pain in ankle knee lower back and neck, range of Motion on all also. The knee have 3 ratings extention flexion and pain. So thats 3 points each. I thought you have to write down on page 11 in those boxes Bilateral knee flex extension pain. Bilateral ankle pain and ROM (range of motion Back and neck Plantar facilities That way the rater have to rate u with 3 claims on each knee. Because I put down 3 specific conditions on the page. The other claims is easier for me Dry eyes Gout secondary to hypertension Heart disease secondary to hypertension Just the bone stiff got me all confused
Have you won some of the claims on this list? Let me know about your experience 👇
Great info

Still waiting for VA to provide service medical record. 3 MONTHS and still gathering evidence stage! What a joke!!
Yes, they are dreadful. Keep following up on them, eventually they’ll want you to get lost and will fast track your papers
@@vaclaimsacademy yeah… not really. Have called twice to have someone “start the process and get it moving” yet no movement in about 2 months.
