I think my fav thing about this song is as if Odysseus is going through the stages of grief but as he's going through the stages, he gets stuck at anger and you can really see that at the end of the song.
The emotions, expressions, and vibes were scrumptious in this. I'm afraid you ate this up a lil too hard. >:3

I dont think he got stuck at anger... He is angry at himself at his false mercy toward the cyclops (Which he spared not to actually show mercy, but so he could gloat to it). Angry cause his pride cost him so many people on his journey.
And the song is about him letting go of that pride and accepting the fact that if he wants to get home, he have to be a ruthless monster.

Ooh, nice detail of the dead sheep! If i'm not mistaken in the odyssey odysseus had to make a sacrifice with a sheep so Tiresias could do the prophecy
