Though I am a woman, I have always felt a spiritual kinship to Peter, more than any other person in the Bible. I am a very passionate person that often lets my enthusiasm and my questions cause me to blurt out words that I instantly regret.
My favorite quote from Peter was when some of Jesus’ followers turned away from following Him, and when the disciples were asked if they too would go away, Peter declared, “ Lord, where else would we go; You have the words of eternal life.” I love Jesus with all my heart, but at times I disappoint myself with my words. Good lesson.
