This video has some fantastic information, though it's very difficult to concentrate on the information with all of the amazing timelapses happening in the background. Kudos!

@@BlokhinFilms Yes, very much so! Tons of great information in there! I also gained a greater appreciation for the QDSLRDashboard software!

@@majorredbeard I use it primarily for timelapses and occasionally for recording videos/photos of wildlife remotely. Great staff!

A very good tutorial on using qDslrDashboard. Thanks for posting. I use qDslrDashboard for all my holy grail timelapses, however, I never use it running my camera for timelapse. This is for the same issue that you have mentioned in your tutorials-disconnection of the Bluetooth. This has ruined many of my timelapse. But it is the best software for holy-grail because even if it disconnects you can reconnect it again and qDslrDashboard will maintain the settings. A big thank you for your effort.

Thanks for watching. It is exactly for this reason I use a backup intervalometer in case qdslr disconnects. In my experience, this happened rarely, but it can. I can see it being a problem and a big concern for other users. If one is a professional timelapse maker, he/she should definitely get one of those intervalometers I mentioned in the video for interval ramping. Otherwise, qdslr is a good option for someone starting on a budget.

Good content and explanation ... I am in the very beginning of my journey with timelapses and qDSLR. If it is OK I would very much like to exchange thoughts and the issues I face along the road with my very modest gear. Regards, Leonardo.

How do I do silent Timelapse’s using the D850 and qDSLR? I can only do this using the Interval shooting from camera directly.

I used a Sandisk card 64gb to fix my inconsistent times.

Why do you think it helped you? Better write/read speeds?

@@BlokhinFilms no idea. I switched to uncompressed raw files and changed my Lexar v60 card for a sandisk v30 and it fixed the problem for me.

These cards have comparable specs. Sometimes you never know!

@@BlokhinFilms I found that I can just use silent photography in two ways on the D850.
      1. Use silent live view mode 1 on the settings.
      2. Start the camera intervalometer and then use the settings on the qDSLR app. (Sometimes it does not catch the changes however).
