  • In this week's episode I invite you to bring out your oil paint, charcoal, crayons, or whichever media you prefer and paint/draw with me!! Every brushstroke and color mixture is captured on video. As I said multiple times, these types of paint-alongs do not produce the most realistic paintings, but they are tons of fun!!

Good morning Yupari. I must say that this is truly one (1) of your best tutorials to date. Reason being: you were / are not afraid to show your vulnerability and struggles - people appreciate this.
The parts that you were struggling with is actually a true inspiration and spark to us, as "aspiring artists & newbies" as these struggles, very challenging and awkward moments in the painting process teaches us that we need to "press through" and accept the struggles as learnings and growth. As you correctly mentioned....take a break when you are struggling & or move on towards something else in the painting. I am sure we all have learned a great deal from you. We thank you tremendously for all of your effort and hard work.
You are "fantastic". Thank you..... This episode has inspired me tremendously"
and be the positive and spark that can make a difference............."

I'm glad to finally hear someone talking about the "Awkward" stage in art.
For a long time when I got to that part of a piece (Mostly drawings) I always just thought I was doing a bad job and got discouraged, until I just trusted in myself and pushed through it and came to realize what was really happening. More artist need to talk about that stage of art in my opinion so people who are struggling with that doubt understand that it's more a mental thing and not their lack of skill, sooner than later unlike myself.
It's like your brain is seeing the finished piece in your head and when your eyes relay the unfinished piece your brain can't "match" it to the mental image you have in your mind so it tells you something is wrong with it even though it's just incomplete.

This tutorial was great because you let us see the struggle and then watched how you fixed it. This is when I usually give up🤣. Thank you so much for being vulnerable, and sharing your process with us. It really helps me learn.

Hey i love your portrait but i have to admit it will be cool if you would do little bit of landscape too. And it would also give you the opportunity to swich little too and not stay stuck on only one thing. I love the idea i am with you on that one
