@@arabellgoodburn2654 there is one scp or tale I dont remember mentioning that dr. King is from a different dimension, where he rules amongst the rows of apple trees. There is a goddes in a shape of the apple there. The seeds are "signs" they sent from the realm so King would return.

I have a feeling Mr King is an Scp himself... His anomalous effects are to summon apple related products from other Scps.
I think he is cursed by an SCP rather than being an SCP himself. But maybe they will make him an SCP once.
It's like how Doctor Clef has the anomaly that his face cannot be photographed. Anomalous properties =/= SCPs.

The foundation has several objects that have anomalous properties, but are not considered dangerous enough to be secured, contained, or protected. Several of these objects are D-class personnel, too.

It's cause (according to the story "Long Live the King") he is the king of the apple seeds, so it is his destiny to be constantly followed by apple seeds.

Technically he was having a delusion but I don't think it was fake, since there are a lot of SCPs that can only communicate via dreams, thoughts, etc. so I wouldn't be surprised if this was one of those cases. And due to the amount of inconsistency with some SCPs with each other, it doesn't really matter which parts you decide are canon, and it's more just which parts the individual wants to be canon.

I guess you're confused as to which vending machine this video is about. The one in the video is not very recognized, especially because of the more famous vending machine, SCP-294 (I googled it to get the number).

During one of scp-507's dimension hoppings. He went to a dimension filled with apple trees and dr. Kings. They recognized him and asked 507 if he ever came back to his homeworld earth. If possible tell dr. King to go back to "us", referring to themselves. Sadly upon 507's efforts of telling dr. King about this, the scp authorities denied the request and dr. King never knew about his "long lost people".

Nice, we can donate those seeds to the Arbor Day Foundation and have them plant apple trees for us
they are a product of an SCP and their origin is unknown, and the foundation cannot simply give a "product" of an SCP since it is not known whether they are normal seeds or mutant seeds that are perfectly identical to standard apple seeds with side effects that can cause the apocalypse or something
I wish that vending machines would drop by in this white void due to the number of different types of money that I found in this dimension.

I was hoping the coin string trick would be in this. It tried several times to kill them, and twice it dropped a live grenade. First one killed a bunch of people, second one was basically a party popper

This is my theory why Dr. King keeps on getting apple seeds. When the scp hole in the wall gives things on what they were looking for. When King received apple seed he said he wasn't missing or looking for apple seeds. However, apple seeds contain small amounts of cyanide. So perhaps in his life working for the foundation he was feeling suicidal but he didn't want others to know. That's when he was probably looking for something to kill him without raising suspicion.
At this rate dr.king is going to go crazy wanting a soda but instead getting 1000 *apple seeds*
In reality, the vending machine is simply attempting to provide seeds to urge the SCP Foundation to plant them and help take care of the Earth.

I'd recommend Dr. King try the machine unpowered, but it would probably give him a milliliter of Apple juice for every yen he inserted.
