    For those who are wondering, the Poisson distribution is a discrete probability distribution that expresses the probability of a given number of events occurring in a fixed interval of time or space if these events occur with a known constant mean rate and independently of the time since the last event.

    Everything is just so clear and easy to understand..
    I have a question on the digits to write for fewer than (e.g 5) when writing is it to include 5 or it's to end on 4?
    I have asked, because in the previous video of Binomial distribution for fewer than 3,itwas just 1,2 and you didn't include 3

    • @mwambamusonda7375
      @mwambamusonda7375 2 года назад

      By factorials you mean what?

    • @TheGreatVerlin
      @TheGreatVerlin 2 года назад

      When it is fewer than x, you start from x-1 down to x-n. But when it is at least x, it's going to be x, x+1, x+2 up to x+n. And when it is at most x, it simply mean it might be x or below x. So you write it thus: x+(x-1)+(x-2)+....+(x-n).
