whenever i hear the words "in this video, we're gonna talk about *insert topic here* " my mind enters a state of peace and tranquility because I know I'm about to ace my upcoming test
Yes!
😂😂true
Hahaha that's great!
Been riding with this dude for years. 100% agree
The Cheat Code
10 min of your lessons equals to 2 hour lecture. I really appreciate
Damn right
More than that. I spent 2 hours in class but hardly understand. This guy makes everything clear to me.
@@iqbalmahmudmoon3965 this guy is simply amazing, I really really enjoy his lectures
1 liner appreciation
I spend 2 hours every week in a biostats class feeling like my brain is mush because I can't understand anything. Then I come to this channel and I'm like "oooooh, I get it!" At this point YT is my teacher because I can't for the life of me understand why my biostats lectures are so complicated.
Thank you so much, my professor brushed over this lesson, gave us the formula without explaining ANYTHING, didn’t answer any questions, and told us to drop the class if we didn’t understand. I was having a panic attack but this video really helped me out. I guess this channel will be my professor for the rest of the semester….
What kind of teacher is that
14:00 He should consider x= 0 as that is also possible, which if we employ the formula, would be 0.75^30 which would be an extremely small number. It would logically make sense, usually we would have a number closer to 25% taking algebra, the chances that 0% take it from a samoke is highly unlikely BUT possible....
Less than 5 STUDENTS...I don't think zero needs to be included since we're talking about people...my thoughts tho....
No it shouldn't as if it should then my calculator would give me diff answers
Yes, correct.
Less than five simply would mean we have 0 or very negligible chances of having 0 😱
You have a point.
P(0) =~ 0.000178... in this case.
P(1) =~ 0.00178... which is an interesting correlation.
This is because,
P(1) = (30 * 0.25) * 0.75^29
P(1) = (7.5) * 0.75^29
P(1) = (10 * 0.75) * 0.75^29
P(1) = 10 * 0.75^1 * 0.75^29
P(1) = 10 * 0.75^(1+29)
P(1) = 10 * 0.75^30
And P(0) = 0.75^30
thank you so much. i wish i could've found this channel in my high school days. always thought statistics was hard but after watching several videos right now as I am doing forensic statistics, I'm realising how easy it is. Sending you love, light and positivity for lack of tangible gifts!
As someone going back to college for a geoscience degree after 10 years in business management this was SO helpful! I have taken 4 or 5 classes in statistics over my life so far, but it's been so long that I completely forgot how this equation works! Also, the refresher on fractorials was MUCH appreciated!
for Problem 3 b) we need to also include P(0) . since there could be 0 students taking algebra which is also less than 5.
Same doubt for me too...p(0) should be added right
I think since the question says 25% are taking algebra there is at least 1 student have taking algebra out of 30.
@@yarachesu2604yes so there is no need of p(0)
@@yarachesu2604 That is not a valid point since we do not know exact total no. of students in the high school. Say that there are 200 students in the high school XYZ. Then total no.of students taking algebra will be 50(25%). So, other 150 will not be taking algebra. So, since the 30 students are chosen randomly, there is at least a small chance that all 30 are selected from that remaining 150. So, there will be a small probability for p(0) which is actually 0.018%
yes. I agree
I really enjoy and appreciate your math lessons. Watching your 20-minute math video helps me understand faster than a 90-minute studying in math class. Thanks again for your lesson.
I don’t know how but your way of teaching is magical.
You helped me understand this concepts really easily while one week of lectures couldn’t make them clear.
Thank you so much.
I wish all my teachers taught like you do.😊
You are really saving my life right now, i could not understand 5 pages of Statistics for Data Science textbook, nor 2 hours of lecture reading slides, 10 minutes into your video am able to solve all the questions. Your work is appreciated. Thank you
You are an amazing teacher! You got me through high school and I’m pretty sure you’re going to get me through college🙃😂
our academic future depends on this guys
I credit you for getting me through college level business statistics. THANK YOU!
You are one of the best teachers I've ever met in my life. Thanks to your help, I am now studying in Stanfford College's Engineering Department.
Amazing learn this more than what I’ve learnt in lecture! Could you please do a video on approximating binomial probability using normal distribution as well, with the use of continuity correction? It would help me a lot! All in all, a big fan of yours!
Is it me or I haven’t seen one single negative comment in any of his videos???
This was easier to learn than my lecturers lessons ha!
I really think this type of online teaching is the future, so easy to understand and saves a lot of time!
a jealous math teacher made 44 yt accounts and disliked this video with all of them
Lol
How immature
ahha haha
@@christianaoshinaike9993 Very
Firstly, thank you SO much! I have tried tutoring and have been plugging in searches throughout Google, Khan Academy, and RUclips for help with solving this type of equation (example 2). Statistics is a huge downfall for me. I want to cry a little, with relief. This video helped significantly. Oddly, this video was one of those random ones from autoplay. So, this may have been "divine intervention", which I am (again) so grateful for.
Why we didn't consider P(0) in the last question when we calculate P (X
Yess I am wondering
Just a little mistake.
I was gonna comment that. Then i found your comment. I think it's a mistake & it will be clear if he pins a comment or say it in the description.
was wondering the same thing. Glad I saw this comment. P(0) needs to be calculated as well.
Becoj in p (0) there n c x is coming 0 ..when we solve this here 0 will come so no need..
Hi, Please kindly explain question 3(b)! I thought there is a possibility of picking none on those doing algebra on less than 5 students, making P(0)+P(1)+P(2)+(P3)+P(4)= P(X
I think had to consider P(0) in the last question when we calculate P (X
Yes that is my thought
My thoughts too
Q b infact
I really appreciate these videos. You explain everything so well making it easy to understand. A lot easier to understand then my book.
these 20 minuets were way better than the 3 hours i have spent in lectures trying to understand this god bless you!
I am a student of IIT...The most prestigious institute in India...I am only paying over there to know the syllabus...I learn those topics from you...Thank you so much....The way you have learned these topics must be the hard way...
bro this is in ncert 🥲🥲

same, from america
Thanks a million, Sir, for this incredibly easy to understand video on a dauntingly confusing concept. You saved my life.
Thank you so much I finally understand binomial distribution
Just in time for my stats class this summer! Thank you so much JG!
So descriptive. You're honestly amazing !
Super helpful for someone re-learning this content to help a student in high-school algebra. Thank you for sharing.
Speechless , simple short and clear 💯
Thank you so much! I just started on statistics and was having a hard time self-learning! But your videos helped me a ton!! Thank you!!🤗
You are one of the best teachers I've ever met in my life.
This is one of the best online tutors, I've ever come across.
That is by far the quickest way I have ever seen someone explain the formula for standard deviation. I kept doing by √(mean of squares - square of mean) and that took ages.
I just want to say thank you 😊. I have Stat exams tomorrow and probability of binomial distribution seemed a bit challenging, but tonight everything seems to have settled in my head. Thank you 🙏.
You are a life savior for me .I wish I could find this channel before. Thanks for your every single video by which I learn today a lot of things
Did not understand anything in lecture. Thank you for saving my life in such a short amount of time
Thank you for explaining it out so well! 😊
I've utilized this sweet angel's videos for two college math courses now. It has been so helpful I can't even tell you. Thank you for your efforts and sharing your gift!
Amazing! Keep up what you do.
Cara você é bom de mais, you’re even better than my statistics lecturer 👨🏫
This is saving my life.
This guy right here, is saving the minds of THOUSANDS of students, your simple videos and words are better than the teachers x100! You should put in ads because I'll gladly watch them to ensure you get the money you deserve
you can donate to him. i think the link is in previous two or three videos in this playlist
WOW! this might be the clearest math teaching I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!
I really hope you got a sweet teaching gig. You deserve it.
Really nice! Very well explained, you have saved a lot of time. Thanks a lot!
Siddhartha, Jz posted about how to find PROBABILITY using BINOMIAL DISTRIBUTION....
I hope it's helpful..... Would love to hear some feed back too
actually I never comment on videos but this video you've explained about the application of binomial distribution is very simple and neatly explained. i thank u for this.

Wonderful! That was so helpful. Thank you.
I'm so happy I watched this video, I was so confused at first. But I paused the video and practiced and got most of them correct. :)
this was so well explained 😭 thankyou!
In ex. 3/b you've missed the possibility of 0 students taking Algebra
yes! i noticed he is missing it.! as taught in our class , P(x
I noticed this too! P(0) is very small, but it should have been included.
Can you not do Binomial CD??
just checked the comments cuz he missed it. yeah the possibility 0 should be taken.
@@Amani_Rose you can, it's just 1
