Literally, if my stats book said something as simple as "counted" or "measured" I would have gotten all the answers right. People aren't bad at stats it is the books that are bad at explaining. Thank you so much!

Excellent! Especially like the 'measure' and 'count' method, comparing the answers to the last 2 questions, and the graphs. Short and sweet. Thank you a lot!
Is it necessay for continuous data needs to be sorted (ascending/descending) all the time? and suppose I have a dataset, having year data. 2009, 2010, 2011..... to 2019 . Is this year data discrete?
Big 👍 for this video. I was confused continuous with discrete distribution, then the two words "measured" and "counted" from this guy solve all. Thank you!
before 2013, there is no access to smart devices, laptops, resources, or youtube for us. it could be a blessing for me If I could find a teacher like him then. but I'm grateful that I find it finally. he is a blessing. god, bless you TOCT. take love.
Why am I in a college statistics class right now, and this distinction wasn't made clearly enough in the lesson, therefore I had to come here and watch one of your many many excellent videos?
my math textbook was giving me only discrete domains and i got confused because I thought they would throw in some continuous domains. Spent 20 minutes trying to find out if I was doing things right. thanks for the video it helped out a lot
You're video was great to me, always mind provoking. (Math), (Science), (Physics ) are fun to me. Thank you once again Dear sir; I wait with enthusiasm for your next video to come out.
Thanks for this. We will have an exam tomorrow, and I will go to battle with my pen and all the learnings I got from your channel! you're helping me get through my high school years!

the explanation that my statistic teacher used for Continuous data: can assume the infinitely many values corresponding to the points on a line interval. JG's explanation: "Measured" I don't know why teachers try to make things so complicated when they can be easily explained.
Hi. Can you please tell me if my answers are correct? A. Monthly interest of a loan - Discrete | Interval B. Time required to do a certain project - Discrete | Interval
Did you get an answer to this? I would say monthly interest is discrete as it will be a specific amount; time required to do a certain project could be discrete or continuous depending on if you are talking about a time period given by a teacher or how long it takes a student to complete the project. What do you think?
