About 3 years ago my son came across 2 bull elk in the area of the sand dunes just north of RS that were stuck together. 1 was dead and the coyotes had eaten everything up to the front shoulders. My son came to town and got me and I contacted law enforcement and we went back out there. We were finally able to shoot an antler of of the living bull with a shotgun and got them separated. The living bull was in rough shape and we don't know if he survived. It was a bad situation but an amazing experience to be involved something like that. Because of the issues law enforcement was having at that time, we were only able to get limited video and photos. It's too bad, because it's such a great story. Thanks for sharing yours with us! I'll be sending links to you new channel to friends.
Thanks for sharing your stories and keep them coming please.
Thanks for putting these together Mike! Looking forward to hearing more
An iconic voice telling some wonderful stories! I am excited to watch every episode!
Thanks for the kind words I have over the years hundreds of outdoor stories from bouncing all over the world. Which I will post.
One of my favorites. Thanks for including this in your new channel.
Thanks for listening
I bet it would be a great time sitting around a campfire listening to his stories.
That's how I came up with the format. Seems like people would hang around even in a bar to listen to these adventures.
Keep the stories coming!!! Great stuff Mike!!!

WOW, great story!
Mike I think the Approach angle was such that one deer lowered his rack into the other rack
Great video and story.
Glad you enjoyed it
Amazing, great job helping that buck

Did you end up doing anything with the dead buck?
Just took the rack and skull mounted it.
