I tried it over again and you're right full doesn't work for me, but brief does :S This is what I issued and it worked: wmic os list brief Thanks for letting me know.
how can i make wmic running ready and memory resident in my windows at all time? because wmic is too slow to run, sometimes it could take a minute to run. if i dont use it for 30 minutes then damn windows OS removes it from the memory and then it could take too long to run it again. i need to get screen resolution width for my batch files all the time.
