Worked for me. I had to sync it more than once. I was able to light the fireplace using the manual control. Then I discovered that if I switched it to remote after lighting it manually it turned off. So I knew batteries were good. I watched the video a few more times and followed the directions again. I set it to remote. Pressed learn button to learn. I heard 3 beeps. I pressed te on button in the remote once and released it. I heard the beep of the receiver. Then success. End result was achieved after many tries but it works. Thank you. I liked and subscribed.
Are you 100% sure it's a Real Fyre or Skytech brand system? The first thing to check is to make sure it's the same as what we're showing in this video. If it is the same, then the next thing would be to double check batteries. I know it sounds obvious, but you'd be surprised at how often new batteries solves the problem! Next, you can check wires for loose connections, melted sections, or other areas where the signal might get interrupted. If you've done all of that and it's still not learning, it could be a bad remote or receiver, which may need to be replaced.
Mine still won't pair. I get a red dot on the remote when i press. I hear the 1 beep when i depress the learn button, but i dont get the 3 beeps after that when i press the remote. It just doesnt sync. All fresh batteries in both items. Please help!
If the unit isn't syncing, one of the items might need to be replaced. You can try reaching out to your original installer or the retailer you bought the logset from, they may have additional information. Or you can call Real Fyre directly at 626-369-5085. You will need proof of purchase, since that remote/receiver is actually a common part installed by many gas log manufacturers. It's possible it's not a Real Fyre set, at which point they won't support your system.
It sounds like something may be faulty or not hooked up properly. I'd suggest calling a local Real Fyre dealer that offers service calls to have them troubleshoot and repair. Alternatively, you can order a new pilot system, receiver, or remote.

Thank you very much... you made the process very easy.
Worked great. Thank you!
We don’t get a beep when pressing the learn button. Any idea how we can troubleshoot this?

What if my set won’t turn off when I toggle off the switch?

My set doesn't have a "remote" just an on/off.
New batteries in both no beep from receiver
