It has been very well. We have created routines for reminders around the house setting timers for lights and with the holidays set timers for smart plugs to turn on and off Christmas lights. I have one of the lucky ones with this being my second Astro and have had no real issues… however, it is still an Alexa on wheels. I enjoy having Astro around, but if I had to buy one now at $1599.00. I think I would pass.
@@gnjadventures yes it does seem quite a lot of money for a fairly basic robot, so saying it is giving you a lot of joy. I imagine they put it out sub-$1000 so see what the reaction was then leveraged the price to maximise profits for those few thousands of people who will buy just about any new technology (me included) I imagine if it ever gets to the UK it will be around the £1000 mark to start off but whilst we wait for it to arrive over here I can always watch yours !. Enjoy
I hope it does get over to the UK someday, but the lesser price would be even better. They now have one for business that is $2349.00. All I see is it covers 1500 sq foot than the home use Astro.
@@gnjadventures Hopefully the price will drop as there seems to be a whole raft of new home robots about to burst onto the marketplace…thinking about it that may be the reason its not being made in great numbers as Amazon might not want their fingers burning…either way we live in exciting times !
We’ve had Astro for almost 9 months. We’re preparing a 9 month review of what we like and what we don’t like. Should have it out in the next few weeks.
Yes, comes with a charging dock, a power cord probably 8 feet long , a drink holder attachment and some rather large “Astro” stickers. Which I would never put on a vehicle or house. Way too large. Complete unit and easy set up.
In December ours will be 2 years old. The first on lasted 1 month and the screen was making a cracking/grinding noise. So far the replacement is perfect..
Basically it is an Alexa on wheels. Just a bit more “personality”. The home monitoring needs some tweaking. First it saw my wife’s robe hanging in our bedroom. For the next 3 hours I had videos of her robe on a hook. It saw the sleeves and I guess thought it was a person. 2nd we have rugs in our bathroom and it became stuck and couldn’t move. So I had to program it to not enter those rooms.
So its been a year now, how are you getting on with Astro ??

Where are you buying this ?
Go on the Amazon app and search Amazon Astro and you can complete a request
Does it talk?
It has the voice like Alexa. Other then that it’s just makes beeps like a robot.
I'm so jealous

i would get one instead of a scooter, but sanctions exist
For now, the scooter is probably more useful. Give Astro a few months to a year and I think more features will be added.
Clearly mag yan attached ritual either isang tulad or gaining
Wala astro app
