That’s a great question. I wish I had a solid answer. They say it’s safe, but who really knows.

My Astro wont move any more, & if I leave him on he sits on charger, says it's charging, re-boots all day as the battery discharges. It will only actually charge if off & on charger. Says he don't know where he is. If asked to move says he needs A few moments, then might re-boot. 1 time during A boot I saw A red thing (kinda looked like A stop sighn) with the word "Echo" on top of it, Never seen Echo ever show on Asro. Weird. 😮💨
@grumpyPW. That’s terrible. Have you tried to call Amazon support? I have a Husqvarna automower and it was acting crazy. Found out it was battery that failed. Just a thought.
@@gnjadventures I have not. the last replacement I got they told me there's no warranty on it at all. I may give them a call. just for fun, See what they have to say.
@@GumbyPW maybe pull the battery and leave it out for a few minutes and then reinstall it. I actually have a video I have made showing how too remove the battery.
@@gnjadventures It does now charge when on and on charger. But still, it won't move. It's basically an echo show on wheels that won't move now.

If really if it was with open source code for programming, imagine the things that people we're able to do
There is so much possibility with Astro. It is still in its infancy so if Amazon continues the project, I think Astro can be a very successful home robot.

Hey Buddy, I cant tell you how much this video helped me. I am not a new rider but learning to do all the wrenching myself. One thing the last owner did was used phillips screws on the pickup coil mount. STUPID!! Stripped both and the bracket to hold the wires down. Had to vice grip two of them out and broke the head off of one of them. Drilled it out with an M5 and rethreaded with an M6 tap. So far so good. Thank you!
Hey Buddy, thank you the encouragement. Much appreciated. These bikes are really pretty easy to work on. I am planning on making a video on replacing the headlight bulb, but (like you found out) used a very soft slotted screw and it rounded off. It’s recessed so I can’t get vice grips. Will need to drill and maybe get an easy out to remove it. Or. Heli-coil here I come. I’ll probably add the drilling out part and showing what not to do. lol. Thanks for watching. Just curious how you know which link to hook the WD to?
That took some trial and error. The way I was shown was take a tape measure and measure the top of the front wheel well, put a link to the WD and cinch it up and drop the jack. And measure the top of the wheel well in the front and then the rear on the truck. It shouldn’t be any more than 1/2 -3/4” lower in the back from the front.

So I am having trouble with one coil, not getting spark. I change the coil to the other one in A. Head spark, so would that mean that my stater is bad
If your ignition coil ohms at 3.8 to 4.5 or 4.6 (going by memory, your coil back is good. I would check fuses, but if the coil is good, I would check into changing the stator. When the original stator failed, the bike was getting harder and harder to start.
