      Sadly, though, its much more common for accusations of actual sexual assault to destroy the accuser's life because people are more interested in preserving the image of the abuser. The best policy is to take all accusations seriously, but refrain from passing judgement before careful examination of the available evidence.

      +nuxx vonire Season 6 was the best season IMO, ending with WHo Shot Mr. Burns. The 1 season I purchased on DVD. Touching, clever and hilarious. Was all downhill from there, then around season 12 it pretty much bottomed-out.

      +nuxx vonire I feel like it's become more directed at pre-teens since Family Guy launched. As Family Guy became more political, the Simpsons became less controversial and safer. They were both better at what they originally did, though.
      When it comes to satire, Family Guy tends to inject comedy into its "message", whereas the Simpsons always used to inject the message into its comedy.

    This episode is a masterpiece. Not only is it hilarious with some of the best jokes ever in Golden Age Simpsons (which is saying A LOT), but it's an outstanding critique of cancel culture, social shaming and guilty until proven innocent mindsets that pervade across the zeitgeist today primarily due to the rise of social media.

      And I love the way it ends. Homer is only exonerated once more "social media" footage comes forward (Willie's hobby of filming couples in cars), and Marge remarks that justice will be served as long as "everyone is recording everyone else".

    The dennis franz cameo is one of my favorite cameos in the history of the simpsons....its quick, its funny as hell with such exaggeration on whats going on, the fact a movie was made in probably a span of 2 weeks and of course franz maniacal laugh is perfect
