Thank you for the video. How can we create our own glyphs? And can they have a default colour, for example, blue? I'm creating a card game and would like to use glyphs for icons like fire and water.
Great question. I'm actually not sure if it's possible to make our own glyph collection but you can always just create regular symbols and icons from scratch. You can edit the design of a glyph by picking it so it's visible in the textbox on your canvas the right click and select "outline text" then you can color it or edit it as you want. Will research if it's possible to make our own 😊
@@DiaGraphicsThe only problem with using symbols is that it wouldn't respect the spacing between text, I'd have to manually do that for each one. Thanks tho!
Does not look like we are able to create our own set of glyphs easily in Adobe Illustrator. Im guessing thats because glyphs are tied to fonts. Therefore in order to create a custom glyph set we would have to create our own font with the glyphs and then install that on the computer. Would be a great feature though :(
Thank you

You are right that would be the benefit of using glyphs the way you need to. Thank you very much for feedback I will do some research 😊
