Where i learned graphic designing i was told comic sans is the worst font to use for any kind of design & teacher teaches in big university since decades 😅 so not saying he's wrong or you are, it's actually up to individual's what they like & feel comfortable with!
Generally comic sans isn't the best font, but that's why I use it in the video, to show the power of customising typography!

The history of Comic sans is actually very interesting, it had a use.

Glad to hear it's been helpful :) So I first find a couple of fonts that I like, they play about with them until I land on something that works, but I always do brand strategy before I start designing, so I already have a bunch of ideas and the direction I want to go in!

Pencil doesnt work for me the way youre editing. All the backend is clicked on. Not sure if an update is missing in my adobe?
I'm not sure if it's just me but I dont have the same tools or at least I cant find them or they are named different things. The ruler tool and pathfinder tool even after using the search button. I am US based and brand new to this program. Am I doing something wrong?

I really love your videos! just found you and just subscribe. If i can make a suggestions, could you go a little slower when you click, like half a second or so. it is now super hard to see what you are actually clicking and even if i want to pause the video it's hard cause it's so fast

Once you've created the offset path, I use the 'Unite' tool within the Pathfinder panel and send the united shape to the back. Keyboard Shortcut is Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + [ 😊
Why do i have to press the colour fill botton after every stroke with the pencil tool. Really annoying :(

Customising using pencil tool doesn't work for me!!💔 Do you know why?
Morning Abi, I hope I find you well. I am a freehand illustrator or draw much better by freehand. I find the mouse so difficult to control and become frustrated when using the pencil tool. Do you use or recommend a tablet with a screen that I can link to my Adobe Illustrator on my mac.
I've never used a drawing tablet so I honestly can't comment, if you are connecting to a computer, do you need a screen on the tablet?

Hello! When I use offset path, my border overlaps with each succeeding letter. I address this by uniting all of the borders and sending them to the back. Is there an easier way to do this?
