I wish that car reviews now included more details around how the safety features are implemented. All new cars pretty much have a full suite of safety features so they achieve 5 star ratings, but the implementations between manufacturers are chalk and cheese. Some are terrible and annoying, whereas others are less irritating
You can't turn them off. They default in, they annoy the crap out of you and they are designed to be frustrating to as witch off and so you end up not bothering. The issue I have is that some manufacturers have taken the time to implement them better than others - they've considered the customer experience and done a better, less annoying job. Some have done woeful jobs at implementing the safety systems.
