Well the whole thing that went down with Pikkon & Cell technically never happened in DBZ KAI, therefore that moment is non-canon. But we can take into consideration that Olibu & Pikkon are strong. They just are not Stronger than their non canon counterparts. But they are still Strong. Bcuz many warriors in Otherworld have trained for Eons, constantly increasing their power levels. In Super, Yamcha, Krillin & Tienshinhan are equal to Super Saiyan 2 Goku & Super Saiyan 2 Majin Vegeta in The Buu Arc. Therefore, and quite possibly Stronger. Remember, Yamcha surpassed Krillin in The Buu Arc. In Dragon Ball Super, Krillin surpassed Yamcha. However, Tienshinhan, Yamcha & Krillin all received training in The Morro Arc. As stated by Yamcha, he is 1 of The 3 Strongest Earthlings. No matter how u cut it, I do not see Yamcha Stronger than Tienshinhan, he has the potential to surpass him. But it has never happened. We know Tienshinhan is still the Strongest. 2nd & 3rd place are up for debate bcuz Krillin & Yamcha have been known to surpass each other every so often. Notice this did not include Master Roshi and Chaotzu. Even though these 2Z fighters have received a training and have gotten stronger also in the moral arc. But they are not in the conversation of the three strongest earthlings. The reason why this place is reserved for Tienshinhan Yamcha and Krillin is because they were the three main earthlings the fighters who fought in the cell games. In order to fight in the cell games the power level requirement is 1 billion place value. Master Roshi & Chaotzu did not participate in that battle because they were far too weak. Their bodies could not keep up with the training nor even try to reach those exceptionally high power levels. Even though Dragon Ball super has done a very poor job in maintaining the integrity as well as the elevation of Yamcha and Tienshinhan , this does not change their inner potential their potential growth and their time spent training. They really need to show them training on screen in the anime as well as within the manga so it gives more relevant and credit to their characters power level increase. With this new training for all three earthlings the fighters they are relative to one another so regardless of who the strongest is who the middle is and who the weakest is. They are all relative to each other meaning they can all defeat one another or kill one another if need be. no they wouldn’t be able to take on Kid Buu however the highest I can see them getting within a certain amount of time would be SSJ3 Goku Buu Arc. Also I can see them attaining the level of power of Saiyan god Goku. The reason why this would be very vitally important is due to them learning the ultra instinct technique. This would put them on par with the level of Goku and Vegeta and surpassing them giving them a much needed case to defeat any opponent. And I would love to see them incorporate training together to master and home the omen version of instinct. There is a lot of potential with the Z fighters, they just need to actually showcase it instead of always putting them in the back burner and bringing characters who haven’t been relevant since DB. Bruh, you clearly don't know shit about it, it IS canon, the non canon version has Shaggy farting in a jar to kill zamasu before kuriza can complete the maze on the back of the cereal box and unlock his potential to take over the multiverse with fried beans and then it turns out Shaggy was Yamcha all along.
Anime is non canon anyways. The only thing truly canon are the 42 times written and drawn by Toriyama. The anime even with the filler out makes very little sense.
