I have been using melodyne 4 assistant for quite some time. But i yet havent found any information what upgrading to version 5 would give me? i know it offers new features for those who have higher tier versions, but for Assistant? any assist on that ? :D
If I change the algorithm to polyphonic, all the notes appear but are greyed out. Is this to tease me into upgrading, or does Melodyne Assistant feature polyphonic editing?

Great tools but considering everyone is under some kind of lockdown and either not working or earning much less I was hoping for a much better offer. Combine it with the fact upgraded licences can not be transferred it is very disappointing. And I wish I could afford it but I'm struggling to justify it. Love Melodyne but I think you guys are really not making the most of the current situation.
@@celemony That's how I understood info in FAQ on your website. It states: Melodyne licences, unless already upgraded, can be transfered to other users. Kept original spelling (typo in transferred) Are you saying that any licence can be transferred? Not that I want to. Just asking. Thanks

Hello, polyphonic editing (aka DNA) is only available in Melodyne editor and Melodyne studio.

What the FAQ means is that the version that you are coming from can’t be licensed to other users after you upgraded it to a larger version.

Pretty sure the background music was the music they were editing. If you listen closely the lyrics seemed to line up with the notes
