This is the final episode of a four-part series on the astrology of the 2020s with astrologer SJ Anderson. In this episode, we focus on Pluto's forthcoming two-decades-long transit through the tropical sign of Aquarius, beginning March 2023 until 2044.
Pluto's previous transits through Aquarius have coincided with some of the most revolutionary periods in history. They're times when the centre is overthrown by those on the margins, and when encounters with outsiders dramatically transform our conception of the world.
In this episode we examine the symbolism of Pluto in Aquarius and look at some dramatic historical examples. Then we transplant the lessons of the past into our sci-fi present day.

When it hit mine 61 years ago I allmost died in a car crash at the age of 13, caused by 2 drunk drivers racing each others in stolen cars.
My girlfriend died in the very same accident.
Guess it was something in her horoscope that caused her karma.
@@chosen_ones777 sorry to hear that. Natal pluto is conjunct my ascendant in leo with Jupiter. It opposes my venus moon conjunction and squares my Mars saturn conjunction. My life has been one long metaphorical car crash. If I live long enough it will oppose my ascendant as it travels through aquarius. Thank you for sharing your story.

Most of what you wrote is like Greek to me.
The Pluto issue is from an Astrologist I visited back in the mid 80's.
He asked if a major accident happened "that day" at "that time". He was wrong on the time which made him correct my (astrological) time of birth to fit with the Pluto problem.
Except from physical after effects (even so many years after) it's no longer an issue and hasn't been for many years.

As a long time astrologer, I am delighted to hear an intelligence on this period.
Fun fact: when discovered, Uranus was called “Hershel.” And Neptune was called “Le Verrier.” Because it was modern times & some scientists wanted the planets to be called after their discoverers not mythology, which was unscientific. Needless to say, it never caught on.
Yes, I believe there was also talk of naming Uranus “George” (after the British king) at one point, too

OMG! as astrologers, how could you forget Copernicus' 1543 publishing of "On the Revolution of the Spheres"?! it completely transformed our cosmology from geocentric to heliocentric!!
Welllll you can't always hit 'em all. I tend to think of heliocentricism as coming earlier than Pluto in Aquarius as Copernicus came up with theory perhaps 30 years earlier, but you are absolutely right, this is a crucial development in that Pluto in Aqua transit!
I tend to be more of an optimistic forward looking Aquarian, but the way you weave in history and astrology is interesting and accessible even for someone who has stubbornly refused to look backward. The editing, music, and flashes to historical images/art and contemporary technology elevates the quality of the video. Well done!

couldn’t agree more, I was so disinterested in history before, more living in the moment and near future. But this video series has entirely changed my mind and vision. (Seems I‘m getting a hint of what’s coming with pluto moving into my 3rd house… learning, expansion of the mind, sudden insights etc.).
Remember conciseness is everything we create our own reality! Personal and collective! This is not happening to us but we are making happen! Everything will be perfectly what we need to experience!

This is fascinating! I watched this video when it came up on my feed - then had to go and watch the previous 3 of the series back to back, and now watching this one again. I follow some channels and blogs that analyse & discuss the current astrological events - but this overview of the whole decade (in the context of the millenium) is an eye-opener.

As an aquarius Sun and Saturn, with both being in the 8th house in an equal house system, and Pluto poised to hitting them at 28 degrees and 11 degrees respectively, I can't wait for this era to come through. It will be immensely difficult, but my Saturn return is kind of preparing me for this, and I believe I can pull through.

90 percent of your video is dedicated to the guest, not yourself, which is AWESOME. Was frankly tired of the talking head videos focusing on the personality coloured by the biases and likes/dislikes of the astrologers themselves. The constant shift between past, future, and how it ties into the present is brilliant. Going forward, I hope this will be the standard of astrology RUclips and more people start using photos, B-roll, and other elements in their final cut. The historical and geopolitical context is just stunning.
Everything seems to be coming together - Graham Hancock and Randall Carlson's predictions for another cataclysm from the skies, coronal mass ejection/pole reversal/erath crust displacements, and Archaix (Jason Breshears) / Suspicious Observers and Tartaria/Atlantean resurgence/reawakening. With ChatGPT, Midjourney reality and virtual worlds will fuse. So will biology with machines. Massive revelations including 9/11, disapperance of MH370, and other major unsolved world events. THE FOURTH TURNING is a MUST READ book, along with THE CHANGING WORLD ORDER, was awesome to see you spoke about both of those. STORM BEFORE THE CALM is now added to my list!
We are most definitely heading into a techno dystopian future, a mix of 1984 / Brave New World / Fahrenheit 451 / Soylent Green / Bladerunner 2049 / Mad Max. Everything will be revealed including the deep state, three letter agencies, media, banks, and corporations that have waged an all out war on Western citizens since the end of WW2. But also a pushback of WEF, cabals, end of American hegemony, restoration of a fair and balanced geopolitical balance, end of woke and SJW madness, return to traditions, strong religious and conservative values, end of consumerism, and resurgence of homesteading.
Pluto is the embodiment of Ma Kali (the fierce Mother Goddess of the Hindu pantheon). Purging, catharsis, karma and divine retribution. Tear down and build up. Indeed, the world will look back on 2020-2026 as the world came to a brink of something unbelievable, and pulled off a miracle. My spidey sense is pointing towards a nuclear standoff between America/EU/CANZAUSUK/JAPAN and BRICS/Iran/Saudi. ET/aliens make a revelation to finally put the end to wars once and for all.

During the Saturn section, talking about rulership, I think (based on old prophesy and modern channeling) it's talking about a state in which each individual claims rulership and responsibility of their own 'realm' or Self. Imagine a society in which each individual is divinely capable for themselves, and we come together in cooperation and friendly competition for growth and ever higher wisdom. That would, with ease, replace the current power structure. The Pluto section makes me think of regeneration, as through an energetic process we are able to realign our physical vehicles more perfectly with our higher Selves. This all ties in with the Aquarius section, as a nation of individuals empowered to meet their own needs will have no use for people in suits telling them what to do for them. Thankfully, with a wiser application of technology and consciousness, I feel like the transition will be as simple as "Ok we're not playing this game anymore".

what a cool survey of human history! i would also reference the ottoman empire under the rule of suleiman the magnificent (1520-1566) and his dissolution of the traditional harem with his official marriage to hurrem aka roxelana. and hurrem's humanitarian efforts that gave more power to the women of her time
Thank you! That's a really interesting example. I just did a bit of digging as I wasn't aware of it. Apparently the date of the marriage is not known but it is likely to have been in 1533. There was a Saturn-Uranus conjunction in Cancer that year, which is so fitting for an event that shook up norms related to home and family!

Interesting, my understanding of Aquarius is that it represents the common man, whereas Leo traditionally ruled Kings and Emperors, Pluto in Aquarius significance to me is the Power base shifting to People Power, 🤔 debatable if that is positive or negative, it depends on how educated the masses willl be 😂, The French Revolution while arguably necessary was no walk in the park 😬
Yes you can certainly think of Aquarius and Leo like that. Although revolutions are often led by elites, even if they’re nominally for “the people”. They also tend to get pretty nasty, even if they end up having good results. We shall see.

Love, love, love your super smart Astrology channel!! I am a fan of Isabel Hickey and Richard Tarnas-so your compassionate and yet very cerebral take on world astrology is dead on for me! I am an Aquarius with Scorpio rising born- with Pluto and Uranus conjunct in Virgo....so this Pluto in Aquarius is going to ping my natal planets big time. I don't buy the NEW AGE mantra, that the age of Aquarius is all sunshine and higher consciousness. Aquarius and Pluto have some really deep- dark sides. I am afraid of a totalitarian-cyborg civilization. It's a distinct possibility unless we rise up against this oppression. The choice is ours!

I use Sidereal, so for me Pluto is transiting my 4th house in Capricorn and the Aquarius transit is yet to come in 2030s. So nuclear fusion by 2040s around the time of the Uranus-Pluto opposition on the Leo-Aquarius axis.

A lot of the prognostication here points to a fairly Orwellian future. I don’t think people want that. Rather, people see that type of thing as the rot that needs to be corrected. We’ll see.
The contortions involved in discussing a characterisation of Aquarius that demonstrably postdates the discovery of Uranus, while insisting on it being only ruled by Saturn, are an object lesson in the perils of fixed air.
Im looking forward to when Orion dominates Uranus! This often leads to a great stimulation quickly followed by many decades of regret.

With a Capricorn stellium (sun @ 7 mercury @ 5, MH @ 12, and mars @ 28) I’ll testify… Pluto has completely overthrown my world. Literally from the floor up. I don’t know what being in Aquarius will look like…it just needs to move the hell out of Capricorn 😂🎉

Same. I had Pluto aspecting 4 of my important planets from 2012 till 2021 and then Saturn joined the party from 2018-2021. Go figure. I intend to write a book based on my own experiences and my clients. I have seen/heard it all ( perhaps).
Same Sun,moon,ascending and stationed Mercury stellium in my 1st plus Saturn return 2014 then Saturn in Capricorn ♑️ 2017. Who I am today is not the person I was in 2008. I would not have chosen for sure. That behind me I am definitely more aware of how strong, beautiful my life is! My transition has been amazing! Good thing I am a rocking great goat! Lol

Saturn is not a ruler of Aquarius, there is no common ground between those two things. It was only thought to be a ruler because Uranus was not discovered yet. Hope this helps! :D
So the real ruler is the observer effect... Hmmph, guess that nobel prize meant more than what people realized afterall.

Extremely informative and riveting docu-video! 😇 One way I hope the "Silk Road" theme of Saturn in Aquarius' transit plays out, is the building of more successful railways across Africa, by the regional countries themselves; *for their own benefit*. For too many years, highways/railways were never built to interconnect these countries because they were each run by a different colonial power. Each country was heavily siloed in that era -- and now that they have more autonomy, I hope the African Union can follow through on their plan (the AfCFTA) to build transportation routes across those old borders, as it would reinvigorate their so many of their economies greatly. 📈🪙🎊
