I'm personally a really big fan of the "crits make you dodge ranged attacks for 1 second" trait, with this build, it makes you basically immune to ranged damage, which on higher levels is such a blessing. Just keep hitting crits (which your staff attacks to ALL the time) and you will be able to stay alive so much more. I trade in the "20% damage based on peril" perk for it, honestly the damage is already so good, the survivability is so good.
I just love screaming "UNLIMITED POWAAAAAAAAH" with EP and Warp Unbound on scryer's gaze which allows you to keep frying everything for 10 additional seconds after you reach 100 peril. Melts through everything, even maulers
@@Redditor6079 instead of the perk toughness boost on curios, I've been throwing toughness Regen on them and it definitely helps counter the frailty. 30% loss is a lot, and the curios would be stronger without it. But, the peril reduction just feels too good to pass on right now.
hey Mister E. ty for your builds and guides , missions with a timer arent that bad if they are kept short ( my opinion ) , i also never lost that many missions like i did to rolling steel :D when i came back to the game after all the updates and stuff , game is in a realy good state , had allmost 5 hours when i stoped playing it 2 years ago now im 2 weeks in it with 200+ hours and i cant stop playing it thats how much i enjoy this updates. got my auric title and many other achievements with this carrying build o7
Man... i'm over here tossing assails and shooting my recon lasgun and you're just... doing better lol It really seems like you're finding it east to manage peril, I need to work on that
Strawhat checked with the devs, and surge doesn't work on anything but the primary fire on all staves except the voidstrike. It is as intended. Don't pick surge unless you are using the primary fire unless you are using the voidstrike.
It adds a ton of flexibility to the way to use the staff, and surge charges its lightning so quick that we don’t need the blessing for faster charges. So nexus and surge are the best for all situations, the damage that left clicks do to bosses and elites is nutty.

In Fire Reborn: OUT (Not because it's bad, just had to find 1 point to move...) Empathic Evasion: IN The ranged survivability is *stellar*. As long as you are attacking (always?), you are dodging bullets. *You are Neo*. In hectic situations with gunners everywhere, it pays off big time.
Bit random but I got a recon lasgun with 60 in damage and 80-76 in every stat other than damage. It’s on my vet but I kinda wanna try going for a similar roll on Psyker. Is damage a dump stat on lasgun builds for psyker also?
Sick build, being able to shoot and vent peril almost never. Regarding playstyle I notice you use left click much more than right click. Is it because the double shot only applies with left click ?

My first Psyker build was similar to this but the trauma staff . . . err void blast . . . trauma sounds better. The light spam's less fierce but quick charge rending explosion spam's fun.

Just tried this and wow... Definitely feels worth the swap for survivability. The extra 20% damage just seems to spill into overkill anyway haha
What perk is that? Im trying to get better at trading with scab snipers/gunners, only things that take me out tbh

Been really struggling with my psyker build so I'm gonna give a go and see how it goes.
-40% peril will probably get nerfed considering it's fatshark. Let's enjoy it while we can.
Honestly they take so long to do anything with their game it will probably be 6 months
Yeah but toughness takes a hit and it's pretty damn noticeable. Psyker is already frail enough, -30% toughness regen is silly.

I literally count out loud so i don’t explode from assails, the trick is having them doing their little jobs while you laser other stuff

I'd run it with Psychic Vampire in place of In Fire Reborn. I've found that gives you warp charges much faster.

What are your curios for this build? I have never really been good with picking Curios effectively so every little bit helps. Thanks in advance.

How do you have both your weapons shown on your character? The weapon I'm not actively using always disappears. Looks cool with one on your back.
It is a mod called weapon customization. I don’t currently use it because it causes a lot of performance issues for my game

Correct, i used to play this build only right clicking, and now surge makes left click hit so hard it’s silly
