We had EHS-DL1’s, 7002T’s, and an MT-24-MCW in my elementary school I went to. To make matters worse, they even played a sound bite of the EHS alarm on continuous over the Intercom (the system was set to steady; it was a Pyrotronics XL3 put in when the school was built in 1991). I have no idea if it is still there but I doubt it.
There are Wheelock AS’, AH’s, MT’s and an Exceeder HSRC on code 3 at my now old school, and the AS’, MT’s, and AH’s would scare the crap out of me when they go off for a lockdown drill
I had those on continuous with Wheelock Zns's (on code 3) at my school. I prefered the Zns's over those lol Edit: the ZNSs are now set to pulse. Just found out today.
The worst part is that there was one of the MTs set to continuous that I knew of that was in my foreign language class last year in Highschool and it went off once due to a false alarm while I was in there. Rip.

All 9219s can do that if you code the strobe. I have models from 94 all the way through 97 and they all can do that. That horn strobe is a 9219. There is no specific generation that has that “feature”. I don’t know where you get your facts from but I really suggest you do your research
That combo reminds me of the hallway, probably the newest hallway of Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center, which is between the school buildings and the Hayden building. It's the hallway that's connected to the Hayden building and the other end is the school. So if you're at the school, you're not even required to go outside to get to the Hayden building. Construction of hallway started well in the late-1990s.That's what the Simplex-Wheelock-MT combo reminds me of.
There's a button that's normally pushed in. When the pull station is pulled or opened, the button is released, which closes the circuit, and sets off the alarm.
Same, I like this device, but that tone had me vandalizing strobes. I'd always try to break the strobes or pull them off the wall every time they went off. The assistant principal had to physically stop me one drill from destroying one. I had a goal my freshman year of high school to destroy at least one, but unfortunately it never happened. They system was installed in 2000 and is still running that I know of, it replaced the original EST system that was installed in the school in the late 60s when it was built. It's a Siemens MXL system, but it will probably have to be replaced soon. The Jr. high replaced some of their System Sensor Mass with the horizontal Mts about 14 years ago and the existing MASS are in continuous and the Mts are on code 3 horn. They sound really cool together.
@EthanBlaisAlarms the 9219 doesn't sync. That model is 2 wire. The Simplex 4903-9405 is a AC powered horn strobe(The newer 9219 or 9217)which connects the strobe to sync with the horn and do audible silence. Hence, only the 9405, 9403, 9401, 9236, 9252 series of devices(besides the Truealert series and Simplex 9002 light plates), can sync. And hence 2 wire devices can only either sync to Continuous flash or Retro flash(basically, seizure flash). Which is against NFPA laws and ADA laws
@@TheFirePanel i know this is code 3, but i am talking about the other tone. The one that sounds like an annoying beep, and it is not a mechanical tone.
@@TheFirePanel no, i am talking about the other code 3 tone in the mt. Why didn't this building's manager set the mt's to a code 3 electronic tone, not the mechanical tone that they are set to in this video.
A Wheelock electronic horn strobes and a Simplex electro-mechanical horn strobe all doing the code-3 signal. Very nicely done!

I have a feeling I have the fire alarm from start sound but diffrent model

Sounds like the mechanical alarms in the staircases are louder.
At the Embassy Suites on San Pedro Road they had Siemens alarms with Siemens pull stations

the mt and the 4002 sound awesome together
I guess one of the mts was replaced by a 4903-9219

A 4002 that does normal code 3? Cool!
The coding is actually continuous.
It most defiantly had a sync module, judging by there all synced, and in temporal.
Yep
The only coding is march time and continuous on 4002 i believe
Later 4002s did the more modern code 3.

That 9219 is running on two-wire operation. You can tell because the strobe is flashing in code 3.
