Thank you very much! I found myself using Ripcord more than some of the commercial MIDI/Chords plugins, as I'm rarely use music theory assistance features. Strumming ,velocity distribution and randomness parameters are well implemented, I'm getting quite musical results with the Ripchord. Transposing whole progression in realtime using lower keys is also fun and editing is fast!
Ripchord will it work in STUDIO ONE 5, if so how do you install it? thanks
@@sooesoss6063 Ripchord does not have an installer, so you have to copy the ripchord dll into VST3 folder. I'll suggest to find a video tutorial about VST installation process for STUDIO ONE 5 specifically. Unfortunately I don't have STUDIO ONE 5 , so I can't help...

Are there hardware keyboards I could buy which would allow me to access learning in this way please?
This is a good question. I'm not aware of any special educational keyboards with such a feature, although there may be some models on the market that can do that. What I do know is that some NI Instruments MIDI keyboards have lights on the keys. So, in conjunction with the Ripchord, you may be able to set up something that will make learning the way you are describing possible.
Thank you for sharing everything. I downloaded the pack and tried to use them on my MPC Live 2 (as seen in the video), but the progressions do not show up.
Those files were not made for MPC; they are only for Ripchord VST. Check out the description of this video, which contains a lot of links to videos with my free MPC progressions files. You need to go to the video descriptions and download those files.

Ripchord will it work in STUDIO ONE 5, if how so do you install it? thanks
STUDIO ONE 5 supports VST3 format, so Ripchord will work - here's a video about setting it up:

Ripchord does not have installer, so you have to drag and drop it manually into VST folder. I don't have STUDIO ONE, but you can find some info /video online about VST installation for the STUDIO ONE. Hope it helps!

You have to use "gear" icon on top right of the Ripchord and from there choose "import a preset file/s" - so now you load all my presets at once from the folder where you keep them.Hope this helps! AveMcree is an amazing producer!
What about scaler, instacomposer 2, orb, rapid composer etc…captain chords epic, arcade?

Are you using the landing page from the link in the description? click on the blue text "you can download directly from this link". Then the download shortcut appears on the top right black field of your browser window. Hope this helps, let me know if you succeeded!

I'm controlling my MPC Live keygroups using the computer that runs Ripchord. Unfortunately, it's not possible to run the VST3 plugin in MPC Beats or on hardware MPC. I apologize for any confusion!

Absolutely love these! Do you also have these as MIDI files? Then they are easily usable in Scaler. If not, I'll try to extract them via Ripchord.

There's a way to extract the midis in fl studio With the burn function in the pattern.. Look for some tutorials on youtube.
Yes, you can extract them using Ripchord just by playing presets and recording the midi output. BTW I’m planning to release those chord progressions as a Scaler presets, so stay tuned!

Ripchord does not produce sounds by itself, you have to rout it into AU or VST instrument of your choice. Here is video about the setup for different DAW's

Ripchord does not produce any sound by itself, you have to rout the MIDI from the Ripchord into plug-in or Ableton instrument of your choice :

@@HunnitAcreWoods Hi! Ok, I figured it all out - unfortunately you can't use Ripchord in AKAI MPC DAW because it VST3 format and MPC DAW does not support VST3 yet. One possible workaround is to use PatchWork Plug-in chainer from Blue Cat audio but it quite expensive plugin (around 100$ ). I would just wait until AKAI add VST3 support to the MPC DAW and switching to the AKAI "Pad Perform" format for now.

For some reason ripchord doesn't work in my fl studio so I just bought Scaler 2.5
I recently bought Scaler 2.5 myself, it is very cool plugin, I'm planning to convert my chord progressions into Scaler, so stay tuned. I don't have FL Studio but I found some info about Ripchord setup in FL:

Tip from the comments: "in Reaper you can just drop Ripchord to the same track as your instrument, just before the instrument. Reaper has MIDI-trough functionality, so, this setup will work".
