Hey Knock, whether you know it or not, you just pointed out a flaw in Maschine's vst3 implementation. VST3's are supposed to support midi in and out, and Maschine simply can't do it. If it could, you wouldn't need that new plugin. I noticed this problem when 2.16 first came out. I couldn't get any of Reason's Players to send midi to any synths in Maschine. It's a shame because Ableton Live can do this without any issues or need for an additional plugin. Great video Knock. Keep up the good work bruh!!!!! By the way, I do the same thing with Blue Cat's Patchwork.
Thanks for the tip. Pluginguru's Unify also does this and a million other things like multi's, complex midi fx, transpositions, conditional modulation etc. In my opinion it's the best value among any plug-in and incredibly powerful.
ok. So - just tried this out! It worked! Only after I realized that I had the input active instead of the output. And the output was hiding under the sliders. Ok! Got my Spitfire Cimbalon working with my brand new Ripchord - after downloading some free 80's Whitney Houston presets. MAGIC > THANK YOU Also - trying to route this inside of Maschine with Elements with any Captain plugins crashed Maschine - so no doesn't work for me (someone asked below @gary smith). But Captain's plugins work inside maSchine and let you choose plugins for sound anyways. This video just made me hit - Purchase on your site! thank you
Can you have multiple instances of Element running on separate pads? For example you have Nexus and Element on pad 1. Can i have Element and whatever VST of my liking on pad 2? And switch between them and play them independently?

Fam I literally use expansions for my drums at least 90 percent of the time. I do this because they are already equed and dope sounding, so not even a lot is needed in the mix.
Good video my G, it sucks neither Machine or the Mpc can host these plugins on there own Rip cord Cthulhu scaler etc so you got to use a third party to make stuff work.

Uncle Knock.. Is there a way to chop samples using Maschine because it’s faster , with the dedicated duplicate pad.. Group A , Lay some Drum patterns down .. example Group B and C.. However bring it up in Maschine as a plug inside MPC Software.. Somehow .. I love the Sampler and Sounds in NI Maschine .. But I want to Sequence and Use Song Mode on My MPC Live . If so can you make a video .. I know you can drag and drop on Daws .. I’m pulling up Maschine as a plug in on the MPC .. it’s recording notes on the Maschine grid but nothing on the MPC grid.

@@arcademcFLy You should just be able to sample it internally easily. Not sure why its not popping up. So If i am reading you correctly...you want to sample the chords that are playing? If so just set sample mode to internal and sample it.
There's a different (IMO better) way to do this which does not require loading Element in Maschine. You can set up virtual midi ports in Mac OS (using Audio Midi Setup -> Window / Midi Studio -> IAC Driver) and use Element stand-alone to route from your midi keyboard, through Ripchord, into a virtual midi OUT. You can then use the virtual midi IN inside Maschine like it is a midi keyboard. The advantage of this approach is that you can easily use it for any instrument in Maschine without first creating an Element preset, and you can actually record the chords as midi information.
@@KnockSquared I don't think that will work, although probably you can get it to work by switching to midi controller mode. Your way is probably easier in that case.
