Even with the censorship, SNES MK was great and satisfied the Kombat-mania. Back in the day, we had doubts that the 16bit systems could create a reasonable version of the game.
I guess it's not collision detection and input lag. I guess it's different, new engine written from scratch, that's why the difference compared to arcade.

Dude, it was missing the blood, the game genie just made the sweat look pink, couldn’t even make it red for hells sake. But the game overall I thought was great. Nothing like it existed at the time, so it was still dark even without the blood.

@@thegameslair There is a hacked version of MK for the Genesis that has almost everything from the arcade. It also uses the mega cd addon (remember this is an addon for Genesis, the console is still the Genesis) the for the music so it has acrade music on real hardware. The hacked version is better looking than the mega cd version. This version is far better than the SNES vesion. The SNES needs a special cart for its CD audio hack. There is a 3do hack I believe that will be very close to the arcade and should be better than the SNES and Genesis. Its in development. The best version at the time was MK for the PC.
O SNES tem gráficos bem semelhantes ao ARCADE... pena que não tem o sangue..... mas a jogabilidade também é muito ruim! Bem aquém do ARCADE e do GENESIS
@@thegameslair pois é, quando eu era moleque, entrei no buteco e tinha uma máquina com um SNES dentro e esse jogo, eu não sabia que era um SNES, botei a ficha e comecei jogar, achei estranho pq eu estava errando tudo, os golpes.... Mas graficamente e sonoramente não reparei muita diferença pro arcade...
