Even with the censorship, SNES MK was great and satisfied the Kombat-mania. Back in the day, we had doubts that the 16bit systems could create a reasonable version of the game.

Dude, it was missing the blood, the game genie just made the sweat look pink, couldn’t even make it red for hells sake. But the game overall I thought was great. Nothing like it existed at the time, so it was still dark even without the blood.
Public wasn’t ready for the blood yet, at the time. It was hardcore the way it was.

It's way better than the Sega Genesis version. I mean love ❤️ genesis and all, but it didn't look nor sound right
SNES had way better sound chip. I love Genesis, but if I had to pick between these two, I’d probably go with SNES.

A versão de Mega achei a melhor, tem como fazer o famoso ABACABB kkkkkkk No meu Canal tem uma gameplay de MK Arcade até zerar com o Rayden, quem quizer confere lá !

@@LoGatoGameplays40 cara, eu tinha mega Drive nessa época, pra mim era brochante as vozes e algumas cores dos cenários, aquele azul bebê era horrível.... Tem uma versão do Master Lin Kuei, se chama Mortal Kombat Arcade Edition, que ele conserta tudo isso, ficou top demais, procura aí pra vc ver

O SNES tem gráficos bem semelhantes ao ARCADE... pena que não tem o sangue..... mas a jogabilidade também é muito ruim! Bem aquém do ARCADE e do GENESIS

@@thegameslair pois é, quando eu era moleque, entrei no buteco e tinha uma máquina com um SNES dentro e esse jogo, eu não sabia que era um SNES, botei a ficha e comecei jogar, achei estranho pq eu estava errando tudo, os golpes.... Mas graficamente e sonoramente não reparei muita diferença pro arcade...

@@thegameslair There is a hacked version of MK for the Genesis that has almost everything from the arcade. It also uses the mega cd addon (remember this is an addon for Genesis, the console is still the Genesis) the for the music so it has acrade music on real hardware. The hacked version is better looking than the mega cd version. This version is far better than the SNES vesion. The SNES needs a special cart for its CD audio hack. There is a 3do hack I believe that will be very close to the arcade and should be better than the SNES and Genesis. Its in development.
The best version at the time was MK for the PC.

This game looks like a beta version of how it’s supposed to be. Many flaws. Horrible input lag and many other glitches.
