The Mortal Kombat port to SNES was HORRENDOUS!!! I remember all the hype: Mortal Monday on September 13! I was at the video game store immediately after school to buy my copy. Then I returned the game two days later due to it being so bad. I don’t know what the prople at SNES were thinking. 🤦‍♂️

In this game, Liu Kang was played by actor Ho Sung Pak. Pak also played Shang Tsung too.

Liu Kang has always been my favorite character because he's the Mortal Kombat Champion. In Mortal Kombat the movie, he defeated Outworld sorcerer Shang Tsung.
