    As unofficial president of the Hunting with Stu Fan Club I'm happy to see a new video just pop up but I must complain about not receiving my unofficial fan club ID card nor my Pig-eared VIP member's party hat and decoder ring. WTF kind of fan club are you guys running here? At least send me back my 500 bacon wrapper labels if I'm not going to get the stuff!

    • @HuntingwithStu
      @HuntingwithStu  4 года назад +2

      Lol actually you might be onto something there mate. If I do get a large fan base then you might have to run all the fan sides of things with the ID card (yet to be designed) the pig eared hat which I think Steve might have one, ha. etc

    • @CanoeingTheEdgeOfTheWorld
      @CanoeingTheEdgeOfTheWorld 4 года назад +3

      @@HuntingwithStu Hell, if our remake of The Road Warrior doesn't pan out we can start the Hunting with Stu fan club with pig-eared hats, snout badges, maybe a monthly newsletter written in swine blood and secret code (you and Steve can invent one after a few beers) and decoder rings, and boar-tusk combs, and a secret hoof/hand shake, and......well you get the picture. I have all sorts of great ideas!! The official logo could be you sitting in the kayak with a big bottle of Bundy, 5-6 rifles and shotguns, that weird hat all you Australians seem to love and a big neon plaque that reads "CANOEING THE EDGE OF THE WORLD"...........what do ya think? (I'm open to modifications as long as the plaque stays unchanged). Better fly out to Florida so we can hash out the details! (NOTE: After watching the video I'd say that spent brass did the "Houdini" not the pig.)

      @@HuntingwithStu I'm 45 minutes from Orlando (nice town but there's a giant mouse problem), 25 minutes from Cape Canaveral (NASA), 2 hours from Miami, and about 5 minutes from some of the best canoeing and kayaking in America. You & Steve could stay at my condo to save money or get yourself a hotel right on the beach. Satellite Beach is pretty reasonably priced. I have plenty of guns and ammo for both of you and I'm sure I can find some weird hats that even an Australian would love (it is Florida after all). We don't have pigs behind every tree like you guys but they're out there.

    G'day Mate
    Just wondering what set up / how were you using the iron sights at night at 9:50 ? Is it just a headlamp and you use the "spill" to light the sights while the main beam is on the target? I've been trying to figure a quick simple way to allow me to use my 22 iron sights at night but everything seems a bit cumbersome. Probably just need practice.

    • @HuntingwithStu
      @HuntingwithStu  4 года назад +1

    • @bushcraftingmuslim
      @bushcraftingmuslim 4 года назад

      @@HuntingwithStu nice. Hadn't thought of that. I reckon youd get a few views showing a vid of using iron sights at night - not much out there.
      I'm thinking about putting a piece of pic rail on the left side of my cheek piece (I'm right handed) and putting a light on there with a QD mount. mainly because I love having a tethered forward pressure switch for the thumb on my off hand to activate. Hope that makes sense.
      Anyways thanks for the reply and awesome vid. Cheers

    To go hunting with Stu is the second best from doing it oneself. The landscape is so different from that in Sweden where I come from, so it's great to see. Exactly where in Australia is this? Those feral hogs don't belong, so it's a good thing to shoot them off. We hunt wild boars and even if they sort of belong in our nature, they become a problem at times when they come close to villages and towns. They were extinct for many years, but were planted back in the 79's and 80's. Since they thrive in our forests we must hunt them hard to keep the population in control. There are not enough wolfs and cats left, so they have only us to watch out for.

    • @HuntingwithStu
      @HuntingwithStu  4 года назад

      Yes mate the country side is very different from Sweden for sure. I hunt out Western NSW which is approximately 8 hrs drive from Sydney mate.

      @@jant.carlsson5061 Feral hogs are feral so there is no limit nor season to hunt them. That also goes for most other feral animals in Australia like foxes, cats, goats, rabbits etc.
