It'd be nice if you could please check out the H6 Flow by NZXT, I'm curious as to if its diagonally-placed front fans are more effective as opposed to, say the Lian Li O11's front fan design. Additionally, at least here in Canada, it's a fair bit cheaper than most of the other panoramic cases, which makes it a unique option. Have a great day Steve!
I had to make sure the notification for this was Hyte and not the completely original and unique Hype cases, lol. Although to be fair to Hyte, they may, in fact, need the Hyte logo everywhere, so you know its infact actually Hyte and not the aforementioned incredibly unique Hype.
People get sucked into the brand thing, Hyte have obviously sold enough cases (with the help of certain youtube channels), to believe they are now a 'team' that the fanboys can go silly over.
For what its worth, I went from a mid/mid-full case to a Fractal Terra build recently and I love it. At least based on the Terra, Fractal really has some crazy good attention to detail and style, better than Corsair in my opinion right now, and before this Corsair was my go to.
@@joel6513I did two separate builds, one in the north and one in the terra. The north was tough to build in but I also put in a ASRock 7900xtx so that's my own damn fault. The terra was a breeze to build in and was a really enjoyable build! The toughest part was cable managing at least somewhat to make it all fit

I picked up a Fractal North XL Mesh after seeing your review for it... and it's legit the best made, coolest looking case I've ever owned. I don't think I would have come across it if it wasn't for your review of it, so I just wanted to say thanks for keeping me informed! Keep up the awesome work!
Your case testing is really my go-to when I’m in the market for a case. You all knock it out of the park with the dedication to actual fact collecting. Glad to see new cases are on the menu!
Random thought I had watching this, I appreciate how much context for the industry, history, and competitors you provide in your videos. I kind of fade in and out of keeping up with component releases and you make it very easy to jump back to.
Haven't had a chance to watch but so glad to see case reviews up! These were what got me into watching the channel and made me feel confident on two of my buys that I did not regret at all!
The phanteks p500a and then the lian lancool III, was happy with the 1st one, very happy as it was my 1st one but the tempation to go a white build was too much, and my uncle gladly bought the phanteks, both cases were great!
@@SpoonHurler Honestly its still way too much pixel density for such a small screen. They could use a lower res cheaper panel and nobody would know the difference.
I just built a new rig (finally!) last week, and I was really torn between a Hyte case and the Fractal North. I ended getting the North XL cause it came 3 pre wired 120x fans. Saved me ~$45. But to be honest the real reason I chose fractal is I learned ibuypower was associated with Hyte. Maybe thats not fair, but its just how my thought process went. I will say though, in general, it is so worth paying a premium for a nice case. It just makes everything so much easier. Keep up the great work guys!!
It's their hurdle to beat preconceptions from a worst-of-the-worst parent company, not ours as consumers to make a leap of faith on a high price nascent brand.
Thanks for covering the non-touch version. Every review seems to be focused, not just on the touch version but the touch screen overall, forgetting to review the case itself.
I bought my first custom case back in 2002 and it was $250. The company took a regular case and added "punches" for more fans. They had different options for airflow and fan arrangement and they did it all in house. I still have it. I don't use it, but its awesome.
I've been thinking the same. I'm considering the Fractal Pop, but I don't know how it works once you populate that bay with a drive. Can you still put the cover over the top to keep it looking classy, is that cover weird to remove over and over whenever you need the drive, does it look super silly if you leave the cover off... etc etc. Seems like all the reviews I've seen just say "yep, it as a 5.25 bay if you're some weirdo who still wants it..." and I say "Well, I'm that weirdo... so... how well does it work?" EDIT/UPDATE: I hadn't looked into it in a while, and after a quick search: it doesn't look too bad with the cover removed (but definitely not as sleek). It would be pretty cool if they sold a faceplate (or two side wings) that class it up a little. I suppose I don't use an optical drive THAT often (couple dozen times a year?), so I could just remove the cover when needed. I mostly burn discs for old systems or occasionally access old file/video backups. As a bonus I see people using the second bay to slap-in a flash memory reader which I definitely miss having on my old build (instead of a random USB thing flopped on my desk).
You can still get fractal core 1000s. No space for cable management, but you can route them behind the mounting bracket for your storage drives, or under the 5.25 Bay. Only has two 120mm intake fan mounts on the front and side, though. And one 92mm rear fan. So I wouldn't put top spec components inside it.
@@alecjahn You can still put the cover on the pop if you put a 5.25 drive into it, the clips for the cover are not blocked by the drive but the cover will obviously prevent use of the drive if its on. Problem is the huge PSU shroud makes it so your GPU has no airflow, id pass if you have a 3 slot or bigger card.
Logos, logos, logos! Logos everywhere! Sometimes it does get excessive. I am reminded of your "Unhinged Rant About Motherboards" with all the logos and edgy one liners like, "Hardcore Born Gamer" or whatever written across the product. It can actually impact my decision to buy. Two products that come to mind are the Asus TUF Z790 pro tat says something like "Last One Standing" and "Got Your Back" and "ULTIMATE FORCE" all squeezed on the I/O cover. The other is the Dark Base Pro 901 case. It just has "DARK BASE PRO" stamped large enough to see from the space station stamped on the PSU shroud. It's tacky. Nowadays when you build a rig, it often looks like it belongs on a NASCAR track.
Happy to spend an extra $20-40 to get a gorgeous looking case. Tend to keep mine for many years, so comes to pennies a day for something that is great to look at and brings a smile to my face every time I see it. But I realize it is tough to monetize that kind of ephemeral satisfaction.
Built my 7800X3D/7900XTX build in the Y70 non-Touch and I absolutely love this thing. Very easy to build in, great build quality and it looks very good.
YES! Case reviews again finally! I love your other work of course by my favourites will be the case reviews! May I ask what's going on with the fan testing?
Glad to see my case the Fractal Torrent smoking the competition! Very happy with this beauty, got it in white with RGB and its been keeping temps of my furnace i9 pretty tame (I use an NH D15, air cooling for life babyyyy)
I just built my y70 and wish I had seen this review before hahaha... It works well for my application and looks amazing, but that noise! I chased that noise for a good min before seeing this. THANK YOU!
I bought the Y60 last year. I added a LCD screen inside the case (with a 3D printed piece). I chose the Y60 over the Lian-Li 011D as I thought it was more aesthetically pleasing especially with my end goal of a high-end liquid cooled build. I looked at the Fractal North and while beautiful wasn't for me, as I'm not into the minimalist aesthetic and it would hide components I wanted to display. Your review is spot on though. The thermals are an issue especially with the 40 series of GPUs as I've had to remove the side glass panel to allow for better airflow until I find the time to modify my GPU to be liquid cooled.
I’ve recently decided to upgrade my case based on your review of the Fractal Torrent, as my old one was lacking in space, it turned into abit of a rebuild on everything but the GPU,CPU and PSU, but I’m looking forward to it arriving! Really appreciate the reviews even when I’m not interested in even buying anything.
I never thought I would be without my Corsair Crystal 680X. That is until just last week I was lucky enough to get a Boxed as new Hyte Y70 Touch in the Panda colour way (Black & White) from a guy just 2 miles away from me for £300 & I'm extremely happy with it.
Looking forward to the testing methodology piece, equal parts nerdy curiosity and cause I wanted to get the first GPU later down the line. Seeing how it got y'all seal of approval for long term use.
I've got a black Y60 and absolutely love it! The build quality as you said Steve is outstanding. I'm happy to see them continue that route while making improvements. I'm torn about the fans not being included, they probably realize that most people who are building a PC are going to either have their own fans or want to install an entire ecosystem like Corsair. So rather than the consumer having to uninstall all the case fans to put their own in they just stopped putting them in. Granted they need to be charging less for this because of that, I can't see the size making the components that much more than the Y60. That AIO they make is amazing and wish I had waited a few months before I built my system kus I would have saved a lot of time and money dealing with Corsair -_- I'd never buy a Corsair case especially if it's got that classic Corsair markup, with a crappy build quality... just like all their other products. HYTE is killing it! I can't believe a company copied them completely, didn't even try to hide it... and failed lol the case looks like it was made by children lol
I recently moved my stuff into the Y70 non touch screen from the Phanteks NV7, and I LOVE this case! One of the nicer cases I have used and allowed me to easily vertical mount my 4090 and still have room for some decor inside of it. For me the touchscreen would take away from whats inside for me personally. I really liked how easy it was to pass cables through the gromets for sure. The branding on the black for my build, is mostly hidden other than the riser connector and no fans, I would have installed different ones anyhow.
I think theyre planning to sell the touch screen separately like they did with the y60. I got the non touch y70 and cant wait to upgrade but it's a nice case either way
Whenever I see those dual chamber cases I always envy the cable management space, nice to see the openings to the other chamber are good as well. Still feel this is underrated, having had several builds with rear panels that wouldn't quite close and currently a 24-pin routed through the front because it wouldn't fit through the standard hole.
I shudder to think about how aggressive HYTE would go with its branding were it to branch out to other components... They really missed an opportunity to have a great big H for a power button, though. I finally got around to getting a Fractal Torrent after years of dreaming about getting one, all thanks to seeing your channel review it when it first came out onto the market. Definitely made a huge difference to thermals, and it's really nice to finally have a quiet system that doesn't struggle to keep cool.
Honestly I went for the Fractal Torrent after you reviewed it a couple of years ago for my recent build and it's the greatest case I've ever owned. It's kinda criminal it doesn't get more hype.
@@StrikeWarlock By that you mean to say, "they do get hype"? If so, I absolutely agree, I have an old Fractal case from 8 years ago and it's been solid this whole time, and was recommended to me at the time as a trustworthy brand.
What I like most about this case is the LP GPU riser and the fact that they have a bunch of other half height slots so you could run a capture card, a second GPU like the A310 or A380 for Plex transcoding or streaming, a 10Gb NIC or even... a sound card, I guess. Seriously though, I like that they do vertical GPU's while not completely making the rest of the PCIe slots useless.
I just built one and it does make the other pcie slots useless. You dont have a ton of clearance to begin with and the riser cables will block the second pcie slot. And anyways the rear panel will not support a second gpu bc theyre not the correct side. Idk about capture cards maybe those use the smaller rear panel footprint but you'd have to bend the riser cables in an unnatural way. Even my intel wifi add in card wouldn't fit due to the rear panel size, fortunately i got a motherboard with a built in wifi since i didnt want to deal with add in cards anymore. You could probably jury rig something with buying separate pcie cables but its not a drop in solution for sure.
@@rodiculous9464 Those are half height slots. As long as the card is a half height card, I see no reason they would not fit and would interfere with the PCIe riser cable. The A310 is a half height only GPU and there are half height A380 models. There are a lot of half height WiFi cards, network adapters, sound cards and capture cards. Sounds like you tried to fit a full height card into a half height slot then complained that it wouldn't fit when you just don't understand how it works.
I purchased the Y60 not long after launch. I love this case. GPU rarely gets over 60c and the CPU runs in the low 50c range. Air cooled only with quality components.
Thank you for this review! I just bought one of these for my son's first computer build. He's a young teen so looks were highest on his priority list while not cooking expensive components were highest on my priority list. Seems like this case was an okay compromise.
money invested in a good case is not wasted - I'm re-using cases all the time - not much so in cpus and gpus still using an original cooler master stacker and a cosmos 1000
Someone else mentioned they bought a case due to these review. This is also how I decoded to buy the Pop Air for myself, and I'm quite happy with the choice
I bought a Y60 a year ago when I was deciding to go the water-cooled route. I get why they made the Y70 (adding a 4th PCI slot) and like some of the improvements, but if you are using these cases like how they were intended (a water-cooled GPU), you'll never need more than a couple PCI slots anyways.
Was lucky and got my hands on a Y70 Touch (Red) close to release, and holy hell I love this damned thing. Building in it was great, my GPU + CPU loop with dual 360 rads looks amazing in it, and the screen is a fun little thing to mess with and have my hardware info on, or a calculator, or play Tetris, lol. Plus their customer service was amazing; had a bad front I/O on my unit, and within an hour of my initial email, they'd written back twice and had a new front I/O kit sent out to me, only needing my case's serial number and an address to ship to. I'll fully admit, it's a vanity case that's more looks than anything, but so far my temps are holding great, and I couldn't be happier with how it looks on my desk.
Had this come earlier (late 2022) I'd have picked one up as it has more space than my Y60. I'm a huge Armored Core fan and with 6 finally coming out, I wanted the space in the case to put one of my Kotobukiya model kits and set the RGB lights up to look like a hangar. It's a tight fit in the Y60, but this has plenty of space. It gave me the opportunity to have an illuminated display case on my desk and a PC in one. I knew going into it the thermals wouldn't be nearly as good as my previous gaming PC, but they're still well within what I deem acceptable. Under any other circumstances I'd have picked up something focused on thermals, but being able to set up a PC theme to match a game series I've played since the first game was too difficult to ignore. I am this case's target market right now. 😂
Don't like a case that is big, just for the sake of being big. My Rosewill Thor V2 in white is very big, but for a reason, it has six 3.5" hard drive bays of which I am using 4 at the moment, and has six external 5.25" bays, plus can accommodate motherboards with 10 expansion slots. Also has three 230mm fans (Top, Side, and Front) and one 140mm fan at the rear. Cooling is never an issue, it is fantastic with that huge mesh side panel and 230mm fan blowing onto GPU and motherboard. If a case is going to be big, it better have a lot of drive bay slots and cooling!! Love it, have had it for years now.
Kind of wished you had reviewed the Touch version instead. In performance and cooling they're probably wasn't much difference though....but I like that screen!!
Great videos as well, but I curious. I love the factory videos, I remember a Starforge one was planned, and filmed, but it still hasn't been released? I was just wondering if still planned to be released. I couldn't find any additional information or updates browsing.
I massively appreiate your recap of your other feviews concerning Hyte or, the company in question. Its a MUCH needed stage setup so that we dont forget what these companies are doing elsewhere
I don't know about everyone else, but I think it would be a lovely change to the testing to replace standardized fan config with two "common sense" fan configs based on whether the case is better suited to positive or negative pressure configurations
I notice the Y70 side fans are relaying on bouncing air off the glass. With fans on the bottom and the side, the case could lose the pull push air flow. For me, function over looks is most important. But people want the flare too.
I want the Y70 Touch. Hopefully they become available at some point. Would be my first non-Corsair Obsidian case in well over a decade. 800D-900D-1000D
Currently have a 7800x3D, EATX Motherboard and a 4090 stuffed in a Y40 and my thermals are perfectly fine. "Standardized" reviews are great but I actually populate the fan mounts in my cases as I expect most people would. I like the Y70, too bad the touch is no more.
Great review as usual, thank you. I would still be very interested in seeing GN review the TUF GT502 case. It would fit the comparison well, considering its appearance, pricing and features, and I would love to see how well it does when it has to go through all of your tests.
I have been dreaming of the Hyte Touch since it came out. I WILL get me one when I can afford to build a new PC. I pray soon. Or, maybe when the 5K series video cards coem out heh.
09:04 Hey, that's SR-3 Dark, I have one of those! No one makes crazy mobos like that anymore, there are WRX90 and W790 Sage, but those don't have a cool VRM waterblock... A bit outdated, but I'm still using a W-3175X build with that board. And that EK CPU block too, had to sand 1.5mm from the sides to be able to use DIMMs with heatsinks in the slots closest to the CPU. The block is in direct-die mode, had to machine a custom frame to make that happen. And the only good looking case I could outfit with enough cooling for W-3175X to be relatively cool was Corsair 1000D, took out the upper rails to be able to cram 4x Quantum Surface P480M rads.
The one funny thing I noticed when I was using the ibuypower custom pc config is that you can choose the y70 and the $0 default option is "default case fan". I wonder if these guys would really build the pc and send you a case with no fans.
i bought three Hyte Y60 cases recently and i have to say i am pleased with them all, but i so wish i had know about the Y70 for my main rig because i have a strix 4090 and cannot have the glass on the Y60 case as its too close to the glass and the GPU runs too hot with the glass on. i guess ill be buying a fourth case soon...
In a day and age where phones sell $800-1000 over their real value, simply because there is a specific logo on them, I get that a case series like this exists and gets sold. And I'm actually pleasantly surprised that Hyte puts real effort in not only looking good and striving to be a premium namebrand, but also puts effort in actually improving the function of what they sell. Even with the rather crummy airflow, the Y60 sells rather well. So for them to step up their game with the Y70, not in looks, but in improving almost every cooling characteristic of the case, that gets a genuine bravo from me.
While as an engineer i understand and respect the need to standardise as much as we can in order to produce results that are apples to apples as much as we can, i think that in case reviews an extra chart that shows temps when all fans are populated. Considering the usecase is in my opinion important. Someone nuts enough ( im guilty as charged) to buy an 360 dollar case will most likely populate all fans and more often then not will use an aio as side intake or top exhaust. And im pretty sure this applies to most cses abobe 150 or 180 dollars. Im not saying add this for every case you have ever reviewd, just food for thought for the future
I'm desperately waiting for your Corsair 6500 review. I've been holding off on that until I hear what you have to say about thermals, specifically the 6500X. I prefer its appearance over the O11D and the Hyte Y cases.
I decided to throw logic to the wind, splurged on a PC build that focused more heavily on aesthetics, and maaaan...seriously love my Hyte Y60 case. I'm definitely going to be building in that thing for many years to come. I'm glad the Y70 is carrying the torch with build quality and appearance, because while I understand people really want to optimize that bang for the buck, seeing that Y60 case proudly displayed as I walk into a room really just brings a sense of illogical euphoria to me.
Yep, Y60 for my first aesthetic build. Since my 286, all blackout cases. My friends saw this thing and made fun of me... "I thought you didn't like rgb"....lol I'm proud of it tho'. With liquid on the cpu and gpu the Y60 is awesome. Fans so quiet all you hear is coil whine...lol
Hey GN! Have you folks considered taking noise level readings from different directions (Front, side, back, ...) in your case reviews? Cases should have different noise levels from different directions, and this information could be relevant for people depending on where they might want to put their PC (relative to where they're sitting). It (hopefully) shouldn't add too much time to your testing, you could do your normalized noise testing as normal, and then just add a polar graph that could be assumed to work as a "multiplier" to the volume obtained. If you don't think it's worthy of adding into your testing suite permanently, I'd be interested to at least see a test run, to see just how much variance there really is. Cheers!
For any case manufacturers: If you made that a single piece of glass with a rounded corner, combined with an LG transparent panel... Could be interesting even as a limited run.
Every time I look at these case reviews, it always reinforces my decision to run the PC caseless. Been running like this for 15 months and still works.
Honestly didnt think the case could have such a large effect on temperatures. Was under the impression that the case was just there to exchange the air with "fresh and cool" room temperature air and that the biggest factor in that would be the fans (and configuration).
The case is fully form over function, but the function aspect isn't totally lost. IMO not best in class but fully serviceable. The integrated vertical raiser is kind of a giveaway on how it's looks first, and the it lives up to the 'Y' - as in Y-axis, gonna have to wait for Hyte to release a case with another letter probably to support vertical mounting GPUs. Hyte cases are AFAIK pretty much meant to have the CPU liquid cooled, either CLC or open loop. And most of us probably replace any included case fans, especially with a "showcase" case. Don't get me wrong it's still a pretty expensive case. Luckily anyone looking for cheaper options can get something like a Montech King 95, or something else with better thermals. It's a really easy to wire case, once you start throwing in 2-3 hubs, RGB strips, Strimer cables probably less so but that goes for any case out there. I've owned the Y60, and I own a Y40 and Y70 Touch. For non Hyte cases I've recently owned the NZXT H5 Flow, Phanteks P500A, Fractal Design Torrent Nano, Lian Li O-11 D XL and I still own an Antec P20C. I've also built in the Lian Li Lancool II Mesh, In Win 303, NZXT H5, H7, H6, H9. So among those I would say it's one of the easiest cases to wire manage, with the H7 coming out on top.
I looked at all the dual chamber cases Steve reviewed, except the Fractal Designs, I settled for NZXT H9 Flow, preferred this to the Elite, which had a glass panel on the top. Cheaper and better airflow than its more expensive brethren.
Honestly, would love one of those red & black Y70 Touch just for the looks alone if it weren't 420€ here. Brings me back to early 2000s when I bought a funny red case with window and red cold cathode tubes inside and spent next couple days slowly spray painting those ugly plain steel internals black. Feels nostalgic and I've honestly missed cases that weren't just same old black or white :')
This case looks really good. But this case is definitely meant to be setup on top of the desk (which I don't have room for). Big giveaway is the I/O buttons being at the bottom, it would make no sense to have this below the desk. Currently I have the NXZT case that has the buttons at the top, making it easy to access the power button.
I can't remember the exact price but I'm pretty sure I paid around $250 for my CaseLabs Bullet BH8 and that was a hand crafted aluminum made to order case. No idea why this case costs so much.
I wish they made one with a mesh instead of the full glass corner, the same layout but the old style 3 fans in the front would open it up for even more intake. (Edit just saw the Corsaid 6500D Airflow finally)
I think that a lot of people gravitate towards having a show price rather than a good performing pc. I’ve fallen into that loop too. The problem with a lot of these pcs, is that argb software with most motherboards are lack luster and resource stealing for what they can actually do. With saying that, the on case lcd is what a lot of people have been wanting, it allows you to have a first party system that can tell you the temp of your stuff and more with out needing to hack apart a case or, have access to a 3d printer with the knowledge to make it if there isn’t files already. Most companies don’t understand properly that people will pay money for something they want that’s convenient, having native support for something that has been modded into pcs for some time that doesn’t have the limitations of the size of a cpu water pump, or having to buy specific equipment to fit your case is nice.

Haven't had a chance to watch but so glad to see case reviews up! These were what got me into watching the channel and made me feel confident on two of my buys that I did not regret at all!
Which ones were those?!
The phanteks p500a and then the lian lancool III, was happy with the 1st one, very happy as it was my 1st one but the tempation to go a white build was too much, and my uncle gladly bought the phanteks, both cases were great!
I have a HYTE Y70 4K touch white and I freaking love it
1/4K but it still looks sweet 😂
@@SpoonHurler Honestly its still way too much pixel density for such a small screen. They could use a lower res cheaper panel and nobody would know the difference.
Just don’t buy your computer from Xotic PC
The competition between Fractal and Hyte is getting us the best possible case designs. Its great.
@@PanderingSlats Agree, thats the conclusion I came to as well.
5:33 Intentionally setting up for an jab at Tesla only to make an accidental car pun is one of writing's happy little accidents. Thanks, Steve!
We haven't even started and Hyte Y70 already won the coveted Happy Steve Thumbnail award. Not bad Hyte.
Man, I need a good case that still has room for my Blu-Ray optical drive.
Hmmm. I think the Fractal Pop has a 5.25 bay!
Get an external enclosure. I have an OWC Mercury. It's been great for 7 years now.
I've been thinking the same. I'm considering the Fractal Pop, but I don't know how it works once you populate that bay with a drive. Can you still put the cover over the top to keep it looking classy, is that cover weird to remove over and over whenever you need the drive, does it look super silly if you leave the cover off... etc etc. Seems like all the reviews I've seen just say "yep, it as a 5.25 bay if you're some weirdo who still wants it..." and I say "Well, I'm that weirdo... so... how well does it work?"
EDIT/UPDATE:
I hadn't looked into it in a while, and after a quick search:
it doesn't look too bad with the cover removed (but definitely not as sleek).

GN: Once again Fractal Torrent reign supreme
It's a good case! Have had zero complaints with mine.
Fractal screwed me over, so no.
@@hagbard72what happened
You can only make so many improvements to PC cases. Even models from 30 years ago are still viable.
I built my system in the Y70 touch back in January. Happy with every penny I spent.
same im so glad i went with the y70
You missed a Hyte logo, but thanks Steve
Thanks, Steeeve
Happy to spend an extra $20-40 to get a gorgeous looking case. Tend to keep mine for many years, so comes to pennies a day for something that is great to look at and brings a smile to my face every time I see it. But I realize it is tough to monetize that kind of ephemeral satisfaction.
After almost 2 years, i absolutely LOVE my Fractal Torrent! EATX case!
Built my 7800X3D/7900XTX build in the Y70 non-Touch and I absolutely love this thing. Very easy to build in, great build quality and it looks very good.
Back to you, Steve
YES! Case reviews again finally! I love your other work of course by my favourites will be the case reviews! May I ask what's going on with the fan testing?
Glad to see my case the Fractal Torrent smoking the competition! Very happy with this beauty, got it in white with RGB and its been keeping temps of my furnace i9 pretty tame (I use an NH D15, air cooling for life babyyyy)
honestly nothing I dislike more than having logos all over my stuff, just makes me feel like I am advertising for them
And for that, you don't even get a fan with it ...
What a wild looking case. My computer is built for utmost silence and zero light, but I will admit that is a nice looking box.
Love your case reviews! Thank you for continuing them!
I have the original hyte y70 and though the screen lags a bit I love the case. It’s so easy to clean and it’s just gorgeous.
I love the corner of desk touching the wall style of brain case
I’m glad I preordered the y70 touch before it sold out
You will love it. I have the Y70 touch with 14900k and a 4090, i have no issues with temps and looks great.
@@brettcoles5262 I have the same configuration but with a 13900k
Thanks, Steve.
..I understood that reference
Honestly I went for the Fractal Torrent after you reviewed it a couple of years ago for my recent build and it's the greatest case I've ever owned. It's kinda criminal it doesn't get more hype.
It can't, otherwise people might think it was copied by GameMax 😁
The Torrent is amazing!
I somewhat disagree with this, if CPU cases had a meta, Fractal cases are up there, especially the Torrent.
@@StrikeWarlock By that you mean to say, "they do get hype"? If so, I absolutely agree, I have an old Fractal case from 8 years ago and it's been solid this whole time, and was recommended to me at the time as a trustworthy brand.
I have the meshify 2 and love it. 😊
Just Built a 7800x3d on MSI Project zero in the new Corsair 6500X and I love the case, really good thermals and those one turn fan screws are magical
Very tempted by the 6500x for the build I plan doing now. Really tough to choose a case!
Did my full AMD water cooled build with the Y70 touch. I'm more then happy with the case and the touch screen is worth the price.
A happy Steve in the thumbnail seems like a good thing.
Looking forward to seeing the Corsair 6500 review as I'm thinking of picking one up for my next build.
Worse O11D Evo RGB
I was sold as soon as I saw that implied Hyte logo.
I notice the Y70 side fans are relaying on bouncing air off the glass. With fans on the bottom and the side, the case could lose the pull push air flow. For me, function over looks is most important. But people want the flare too.
I looped Hyte Logo and now I'm hooked.
I want the Y70 Touch. Hopefully they become available at some point. Would be my first non-Corsair Obsidian case in well over a decade.
800D-900D-1000D
Great review, just recently found the channel and been loving it ever since, with the wealth of info you have.
5:48 I was also thinking of Tesla. Seems to just be a synonym for wide panel gaps
I got a Lian li o11 mini air white and I love the case and air flow. It came with 2 140 mm fans and one 120 rear.
Finally got my Touch upgrade around late July. It is definitely something of a luxury buy. But I enjoy the whole experience!
how are the temps?
@@ManCaveMike2099 Not bad. Even with this summer heat, it's hanging mostly around 50-60 C.
Really like this case, but the lack of horizontal GPU mounting pushes me away. Good review as always though Steve!
Nice video as always ! Im very interested in the Antec performance 1 Silent, hope you guys make a dedicated review
I'm dying with that intro and the prices 😂
Seeing happy steve on a thumbnail is enough to know its a good product
Once a company like this lies on marketing materials, I just find it difficult to ever trust (and support) them in the future.
I can't remember the exact price but I'm pretty sure I paid around $250 for my CaseLabs Bullet BH8 and that was a hand crafted aluminum made to order case.
No idea why this case costs so much.
i was almost expecting the add read to end with "and it has a Hyte logo" after that intro.
I wish they made one with a mesh instead of the full glass corner, the same layout but the old style 3 fans in the front would open it up for even more intake. (Edit just saw the Corsaid 6500D Airflow finally)
Hope they make a case for those of us that don’t want a window and would rather have airflow. Not holding my breath though
Crazy timing on this video because this is the case im currently using in my build. still havent decided on a mobo though
Still waiting for the Montech King 95 review.
