- This 84 foot tall rotating pendulum ride is one of only two HUSS Giant Frisbee attractions in the USA, along with Delirium at Kings Island. maXair propels riders back and forth at 70 mph as they soar 140 feet into the sky when the pendulum reaches its maximum arc of 240 degrees, creating a brief floating sensation.
Cedar Point, also known as "America's Roller Coast", is located in Sandusky, Ohio.

This one for me was one of the scariest, even more so than the bigger coasters. It gives you the illusion of going upside down, it’s not too spinny, and it gets your stomach like hell. I knew it was as scary as it looked!
This is one of my favorite rides at Cedar Point. So much fun to ride
I've been on the Intamin version of this ride. Fantastic! It's like a cross between the classic pirate ship and a swing ride.

This was awesome!! I rode this as my first amusement park ride ever and I loved it
I use this ride as a back up ride if the big rollercoasters have long lines (only because the others don't give you that thrill experience.)
Plus this has like 70 ppl at a time so the lines are fast
i've sadly never been to cedar point, but honestly both maxair and skyhawk as flat rides look more terrifying (and more fun haha) than a lot of roller coasters
i worked there the year this came out, it was probably the funnest ride there
I screamed so loud on this but was so fun, one of the last rides I rode before leaving
this ride is fun, you can definitely feel the force in your chest though...or maybe that's just me
Anyone who's scared to do this just do it it might be fun I know I was so scared until I did it then I had to do it two times in a row!

Okay when I got on this my bar clicked off once and I freaked out and pulled it back down again. It didn't come completely off but just loosened like I literally heard it click off. The whole time I was freaking tf out cuz what if it came off completely. I thought I was gonna die man.

I have been on an identical ride in Bobbejaanland in Belgium, called Sledgehammer. It's the greatest flatride on the planet :-) So much fun.

Wow. I can't believe CF recorded Maxair even though it's not a rollercoaster. That's good because it doesn't require much effort as the ride only goes back and forth, spinning. I feel bad for him/her for going all around under the sun recording rollercoaster more than once.
also the line goes really fast because you can fit so many people on it

This ride is sooo fun not scary at all after our first few swings. I rode it 3 times which in hindsight wasn’t the best idea, seeing as it triggered my motion sickness but I knew what I was getting into so no complaints.

I’ll ride TTD any day but you would NEVER catch me on this. I’ve always hated these types of “frisbee” rides because they are the ones that are most prone to malfunctioning and killing people.
This is similar to the Frisbee at six flags fiesta Texas, Except on here, You face outwards instead of inwards. I would like to try this one someday! It would be nice if it swings all the way around too! 😉☺☺

+Justin Artis Mondail Revolution version. Too bad CF is being cheap to Carowinds and WOF by giving them left overs from Europe. Those 7 rides they're buying are carnival type stuff and they're paying 7 million dollars. I'd rather them put in one Mondail Revolution at each park. Black Widow at Kennywood is a huge hit, although it's made by Zamperla.
This ride has been down for almost a year and has something to do with a missing part they can't get. I just went to cedar point yesterday right when it opened and it was still down. Later that day I saw the ride was open and got on it, it was the 5th time it started since it broke and they were just about to start the ride and then it broke again. I'm sooooo sad.
I'm going in June, I'll be so bummed if this is down. One of the best rides in the park.

+Visible Rager It's bigger, and wasn't designed that way. Plus the amount of people it takes per ride would be WAY too much weight to handle the G-Forces of spinning upside-down. That's why you only see much smaller disc rides do loops.

The other flatrides which you've seen are much smaller than this one. This one is too big, that's why it can't go upside down. Although MaxAir doesn't go upside down, it's very thrilling.

I'm going to the point for the first time and I never road a roller coaster in a long time and I feel like I'm going to puke bc I don't like roller coasters or planes I will throw up easily onit but ok the little rides I'm going to try but I'm going to show you how I feel about this ride I feel so scared and sick everyone at my school is telling me about it but I don't have school for a long time. Plus this can't go upside down even if they tried. It is too big. Cyclos at Kentucky Kingdom is smaller so it can invert.
