Great deal on the bikes, and another great video, Thanks again, My son just bought from an estate auction, 1978 Honda express with 140 miles $550 bucks with a title, Guess what color, Yellow, also there was a BSA and a triumph from the 70s , The BSA had 460 miles and the triumph had 1100 miles on it , The bikes went for $6,000 for both, you would have liked them, we missed out on buying them ,they sold the day before we got there, the BSA was red with a half chrome tank, the triumph was blue and white, i have no idea what model or what size they were, But they look brand new and so did the yellow Honda express, Never been in the weather, Well another great video, Thanks again,
Battery charging needs to be balanced through the plug most likely the balance port for charging.Lots of cells are wired together in sections and need the battery management system or bms to regulate charging and discharging.
Heya Dave , I’m a newbie in this media but I caught a post today ( a year old I know but relates to “ the Vermont title loophole is dead !”…. I’m sure you recall I live in Australia and love your educational, exciting and , most importantly, your knowledge of your industry. My comment is not intended to be corrosive or nasty or b.s. My point is our Constitution was virtually a copy of yours , way back in 1901 , and so it contains all the good things your founding fathers enshrined into law and ( most importantly)!, common decency. There have been many amendments to your origin document but also to ours , in many cases related to social issues which affect us , not you guys but, I studied Public Administration ( which includes the Constitution) …. Sorry about this essay but , there was on thing that had never changed and it involved , get this , INTERSTATE TRADE … yeah ? After watching your show and the references to fees, transport, ( the pitfalls of internet bidding), it occurs to me that the FEDS are very limited in there interference in state to state commerce ….. an example you used …. A Florida bike going to Las Vegus for Auction to a buyer in Vermont..!! I would advise a quick visit with a Lawyer locally ( particularly a bike riding lawyer ) for advice on the Feds and States profiting unconstitutionally from Interstate Trade…, I know we’re all virtually powerless at Auctions ( except for our Gold , of course …. as a bidder or a naive seller….. man , this internet structure is fraught with traps for both.)…. I digress, sorry. My point is the activity of those two levels of government, impeding, profiting unfairly of a legitimate interstate transaction and “accomplices “ built into the entertainment, excitement , in/or /deflationary mix…… I’ve gone on too long …. Make serious enquiries into interstate trade restrictions for our area of interest…..just advice mate, no formal quals. ( which should be obvious) but I don’t think those guardrails , enshrined in the Constitution, have changed since I was a student in the ‘80’s otherwise, Ford ,Tesla, Boeing, and co , would be screaming !!!☮️🎶 Claypavers
Thank you. I plan to do an update on that, but yeah, while our Courts have seriously expanded the definition of interstate commerce, the Feds also would like to see these old bikes off the road methinks.
@@bullpencycles I totally agree because they find it difficult dealing with the cash economy. I’ve even noticed the weird world of buying Ganga, licensed Drs. And pharmacists and shopfronts in shopping centres….. man , it’s the folding money they’re missing out on ( like at Joes Bar n Grill Carpark after school ) or Maccas car park ….. you just gotta be inventive. Love yer show mate, I’m a swap meet tragic who is entering my first one in October this year and hope I don’t spend more ( cash) than I earn. Keep ‘em coming buddy , I’m learning so much ….☮️❤️🎶Claypavers

Another good one Dave, thanks for sharing your adventures!

Yes, my thought too
Nice. I love auctions. Thanks for teaching me something....
Scooters?
The two Laser mopeds seem stylish and not totally useless.
They look that way at least!

I would think you should make good profit on them unlike your previous auction mishaps. Good luck dave.
Other Segways are starting to pop up on Marketplace in/around Florida, probably from the same auction. I'll see how they go.
I could tell that was a helix even on your tiny phone picture on my phone. Now you'll be scooting non stop
maybe
I always thought the helixes were very good & practical scooters that will top out at 70 mph and I’m sure they get great mileage .
I dont know if they are. I never did like looking at them, but you might be right. We'll soon know I think
CF motor seem to be doing awesome My son-in-law shop here in Maine Is out selling most name brand, dealers with the CF Moto ATV’s
What's the shops name? website? kinda curious =]
They came a long way I think, but these Helix clones did have a good reputation.
Now you've gone to the dark side. Scooters.
Yeah, I know, right!

Yes, and Phila and Atlanta
... all you needs the wiring diagram for the Segway battery/bike and you can do anything ... @@bullpencycles
Convert those other scoots to gas perhaps. OR... hub motor kit.
I'm not sure what to do with those yet.
Great content we like mopeds and scooters.
Anything with a motor and two wheels, sometimes three.
Not a scooter guy just more interested in watching you figure this out.
Oh, gee. That's really cool!
That laser unit looks like a Honda solo clone.
Honda solo? Googling now!
Hi Dave. I will see you on the Yellow Submarine at Mid-Ohio later this month, right?
I plan to be there, dunno about the Yellow Sub, yet. Also gonna try to hit Wausean
Look like interestingly frustrating projects. Even if you bought new batteries for them you could atleast make your money back on the Segways.?
Good term. Interestingly frustrating. I might steal that. Kinda explains the whole vintage hobby, yes?
@@bullpencycles Without a doubt.
Yellow will be the fastest banana you own. Some body will tell you about the battery and you will get it done.
Oh no. There's a secret about the battery?
More after the purchase?. Don't care about your opinion, when you don't follow through😮
yes, i reviewed the SSR here. The others i didn't get to yet ruclips.net/video/J_npOgCSr3A/видео.html
More money than brains 👎
blah
That's what I thought, but I can never guess which video folks like most. This one is doing well, actually! Must be some scooter guys out there!
Uninteresting short of content
