Tetris Pixeled I only have zelda and mario kart 8 deluxe and it was really worth it. Nintendo has done an awesome job and with splatoon 2 and mario oddessey coming up plus over 50 indie games it's looking good. I also have a mid tier pc and for me the switch was well worth it.
Also, why did Austin use a PS4 slim and not a PS4 PRO? Because, the XBox One S has 4k, but the PS4 slim doesn't. Yes, I know it's not TECHNICALY 4K, but still.
both Xbox and PlayStation are launching new consoles in November (xbox pretty much making a new version of the xbox one x) but nintendo won't. I personally suggest the switch because you get amazing exclusives and being able to play games like Skyrim on the go, and nintendo not launching any consoles this year makes now one of the best times to get a switch, with a great variety of games and a good understanding of what the community wants. When in doubt, get a switch because we don't know much about Sony and Microsoft's new consoles but we know what we're getting with the switch and what to expect.

Honestly the switch. Ive had it for 3 weeks and I love it. The variety of games is really nice. I also love the hybrid console idea. I work 40 plus hours a week and dont have alot of time to play when im off. This gives me the chance to still enjoy gaming but still do other things. I absolutely recommend it.
Khpro Gaming So you're saying Nintendo doesn't have variety but PS4 and XBone have that. No offense, but all I'm seeing on the PS4/XBONE is generic shooters/generic sports games/ generic platformers. Sure, some games look quite unique, like Horizon Zero Dawn. And yes, the Switch could have better variety, but it does have Mario Kart, Splatoon 2, Zelda, Mario + Rabbids, loads of indies(that's why it seems to be known as a ''portable indie machine that plays Nintendo games'') and a bunch more. Not a bad start for the Switch I'd say considering were getting a huge hitter this Christmas season in the form of Super Mario Odyssey.

I think people that say the switch looks outdated are forgetting THE WHOLE PROCESSING POWER IS INSIDE THAT LITTLE TABLET. The switch is not meant to be powerful it's an amazing hybrid yet even thought it's only in that tablet it looks almost on par with an Xbox one if you don't just focus on graphics all the time. I still think the switch is Revolutionary, let's see Sony or Microsoft make a console that small that con run some games at 1080p. The PS4 and Xbox are way way bigger than a switch yet still aren't remarkably more powerful, hybrid consoles are the future.
Now that switch has all this 3rd party support, It certainly gets ahead of the Xbox One, at least. I think if you have a PC, go with the switch. If you don't have any other gaming medium, go for the PS4 (Unless you want to just save up the extra hundred dollars for a mediumly powerful gaming PC). Xbox is a good all around features, if you don't just need a bulk gaming machine but prefer the other qualities as well

If you don' t own any of these consoles i'd recommend the PS4. It's powerful, has great graphics and a huge game library. That's just me though, go for whatever console interests you the most

However, I gotta admit that there's one game in specific for which I would almost get a PS4 being Horizon. The thing is: I'm someone who played mainly Nintendo in the past in I'll probably keep doing that. So if you're new to consoles... hm... from what I have seen Horizon has a quite similar theme compared to Zelda BotW but a very different take on it. Horizon's more realistic and story based, I'd say. Well, if you do not on a PC, Xbox might be for you since - judging by this video - it is much more PC-like than any of its competitors which makes sense if you think about it. Xbox is Microsoft after all.

People often don't talk about the #1 selling point for the Playstation 4 for me, exclusive JRPGs. Like Kingdom Hearts, Disgaea, Final Fantasy, Hyperdimension Neptunia (Well... almost all HDN games are on PC now, but it takes a while to get ported and they're never very good ports.) etc... I mean hell, having practically every Kingdom Hearts game available on one console is reason enough for me to get a PS4.
I love my switch and PC, and I also enjoyed my psvita a lot for persona 4 golden and the danganronpa series, but I might have to pick up a PS4 or 3 now for persona 5. I need that game in my life...
the switch got Disgaea 5 which is perfect for me since I've always preferred it on a portable system, like the Vita. I'm more than sure the switch will be getting more good jrpg games down the line
I have an Xbox one because I had a 360, and I wanted all my data to transfer over. Also, the console War doesnt really matter, because you should really buy what your friends have. The PS4 is more powerful than the xbox one, however if all your friends have an xbox, there really is no point in getting a PS4.

Well all of my friends have a Xbox one, but I'm originally a PlayStation guy and I'm looking to buy a console soon. As much as I'd love playing with my friends, I don't think I can give up on playing persona 5, horizon, nioh, nier, uncharted, ni no kuni 2(soon to be released), etc. To me that's the sole area where Xbox loses, they need more and better exclusives.
The only reason I will get xbox is because basically every computer uses windows so Xbox will be really compatible. The only reason I wouldn’t get it is because every free game in the library needs Xbox gold and it is CRAZY expensive
So there is an app on windows which is called Xbox companion and you can basically use the Xbox controller to play games on that computer....since they are both made by windows. Hope that helped

Khpro Gaming So you're saying Nintendo doesn't have variety but PS4 and XBone have that. No offense, but all I'm seeing on the PS4/XBONE is generic shooters/generic sports games/ generic platformers. Sure, some games look quite unique, like Horizon Zero Dawn. And yes, the Switch could have better variety, but it does have Mario Kart, Splatoon 2, Zelda, Mario + Rabbids, loads of indies(that's why it seems to be known as a ''portable indie machine that plays Nintendo games'') and a bunch more. Not a bad start for the Switch I'd say considering were getting a huge hitter this Christmas season in the form of Super Mario Odyssey.

I think people that say the switch looks outdated are forgetting THE WHOLE PROCESSING POWER IS INSIDE THAT LITTLE TABLET. The switch is not meant to be powerful it's an amazing hybrid yet even thought it's only in that tablet it looks almost on par with an Xbox one if you don't just focus on graphics all the time. I still think the switch is Revolutionary, let's see Sony or Microsoft make a console that small that con run some games at 1080p. The PS4 and Xbox are way way bigger than a switch yet still aren't remarkably more powerful, hybrid consoles are the future.

Now that switch has all this 3rd party support, It certainly gets ahead of the Xbox One, at least. I think if you have a PC, go with the switch. If you don't have any other gaming medium, go for the PS4 (Unless you want to just save up the extra hundred dollars for a mediumly powerful gaming PC). Xbox is a good all around features, if you don't just need a bulk gaming machine but prefer the other qualities as well

Planning on getting a new console and deciding between PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. They all have their advantages and not too sure which to choose. Any advice?
If you don' t own any of these consoles i'd recommend the PS4. It's powerful, has great graphics and a huge game library. That's just me though, go for whatever console interests you the most

However, I gotta admit that there's one game in specific for which I would almost get a PS4 being Horizon. The thing is: I'm someone who played mainly Nintendo in the past in I'll probably keep doing that. So if you're new to consoles... hm... from what I have seen Horizon has a quite similar theme compared to Zelda BotW but a very different take on it. Horizon's more realistic and story based, I'd say.
Well, if you do not on a PC, Xbox might be for you since - judging by this video - it is much more PC-like than any of its competitors which makes sense if you think about it. Xbox is Microsoft after all.

People often don't talk about the #1 selling point for the Playstation 4 for me, exclusive JRPGs. Like Kingdom Hearts, Disgaea, Final Fantasy, Hyperdimension Neptunia (Well... almost all HDN games are on PC now, but it takes a while to get ported and they're never very good ports.) etc... I mean hell, having practically every Kingdom Hearts game available on one console is reason enough for me to get a PS4.

The PS4 is more powerful than the xbox one, however if all your friends have an xbox, there really is no point in getting a PS4.

Well all of my friends have a Xbox one, but I'm originally a PlayStation guy and I'm looking to buy a console soon. As much as I'd love playing with my friends, I don't think I can give up on playing persona 5, horizon, nioh, nier, uncharted, ni no kuni 2(soon to be released), etc. To me that's the sole area where Xbox loses, they need more and better exclusives.
