Thats a tough one for me @DeanF_MIDI I think I listen to Without Holding Back 2 to 1. But then again, thats what makes them the best. No one can or will have the same top list.

I've come to think of it as a five minute guitar concerto from Kanami (with, as you noted, great support from everybody). As Tom says below, seeing them do this live is really a treat. Wish they had an official live video of it, but even watching fan cams of them doing it is mind-blowing.

Now you need to check out "Onset" which is the second song by the Ladies of Band-Maid I heard and the one which cemented me as their fan for life. The first song I heard by them was Freedom from their 2-14-2020 concert at Line Cube Shibuya, which is on their channel. Watching that made me look into the rest of their music and Onset locked me.
Then you need to check out a few more instrumentals from the Ladies. Without Holding Back, and Don't be Long were written specifically as instrumentals, however, they have also released instrumental versions of their entire "Unseen World" album, the best in my opinion is Giovanni.
Onset is on the list for sure!!

Kanami said on Twitter/X I think last week that they have finished recording the new album. Whether they have finished the mix or just the recording, I don't know, but they already have the release date and I have already pre-ordered both versions with the DVD and the Blu-ray.

from JAPAN. Thank you for your reaction to BAND-MAID. Have you so far been able to find a song you dislike, a boring song, a bad song, or a similar song, respectively? The songs that BAND-MAID makes have catchy melodies on top of complex song structures, so I think you will probably enjoy listening to them without getting bored. There may be aspects of BAND-MAID that you are not yet aware of. I hope you can understand all that BAND-MAID is all about.

Not only did they make a music video for an instrumental, they made it their lead single from the “Unleash!!!!!” album. And Saiki, who decides setlists, usually makes it their opener at festivals.
Instrumental? I clearly hear Kanami singing throughout the whole song. As for practice, my guess is that they practice til their fingers bleed but they get it perfect. Thanks for reacting to Band-Maid.

Saiki needs to rest her voice during shows so every once in a while our MAIDs will drop an instrumental on us. It is really a rare opportunity to see MINCHO go off for an extended period as many of the in song solos are just too short ;) .

It gets all of the guitarists and the drummer involved and it's a "what I call joyous" song. Couldn't wait for him to react to Akane's amazing drum fill at 3:15, dude proceeds to talk over it and not hear it at all, smFho. Like dude, you're all over the place; sometimes you actually listen to the music and then you pause to comment on their musicianship and go back a little afterwards as to not miss out on anything, which is the way to go, but on many more occasions, you spam comments every fucking 3.5 seconds over the music, all the while missing out on key elements from their songs. Love the enthusiasm, but so frustrating to watch.
You do realize this video is around year old. So it's not a recent Band-Maid tune.
