These were not all in my “carry rotation” at once. It’s more like 3-4 pistols in my average rotation and the 29 being available for woods carry while shooting.
took your recommend and went on eBay. went looking for the grips for the saw 40c and found a large back strap. ordered it and it feels way better.(bought it used) might put 50 to 100 rounds at the range and see. depending on how it goes ill have decided about barrel conversion to sig or 9.
I've been on the fence about getting a glock 29 but i think ill get one now. it was between the glock 29 and springfield xdm compact in 10mm i appreciate the sign my good man
Not into "carry rotations" myself. Lets be honest here. That Shield 40 with its various configurations will handle any concealed carry work that needs to be done. Grab an little tiny 380 if you need a pocket pistol and keep the M&P 40c as a range toy. The rest id sell off
I agree. I’m against a carry rotation because you’re changing up too much. It’s better to practice and carry the same pistol. Muscle memory is a real thing. Why make it harder on yourself by changing platforms and carry locations?
I agree with you about carrying a large pistol. I carry a full size 1911 45 all the time, everyday, all day. It’s pretty easy to conceal, but you know you have it on you. I wouldn’t call it uncomfortable. And it doesn’t inhibit my activity (I’m a manual laborer). But sometimes I think it would be nice to have a smaller pistol on my hip. Let’s just say that it’s a relief when I get home and I use a shoulder holster for it.
That Springfield hellcat looks nice I been looking to get the one with the silver slide every time I see yours it makes me wanna go buy it but great video all solid choices.
Glock 42 is the best carry gun for me. Mine holds 8+1 and is the biggest run i can conceal and its super reliable with good ammo and shoots like a pellet gun
I as a very weak -physically person, use 115 grain in my Glock 19 & 26. The smaller guns-Sig Sauer P365, Sig P365 XL 12 round. I need lighter ammo. I have not tried, but have seen & heard of light weight 9mm ammo. Liberty ammo makes some self defense ammo. 90 Grain- There is another company for 9mm lighter load (Less recoil) -I think it is ARX. These are to be lighter on the recoil etc. I hope this helps-Hard to find but possible- Take care, God bless-Shawn.
I had to get the $9.99 Amazon hand grip special for my Shield Plus. Last ditch effort before trading it off. Made a huge difference, it’s not going anywhere!
Id like to test the shield plus, the hellcat & the g42. I'd like all three for a carry rotation. That g29 though would be the finial boss. One shot drops 👀 ' damn lol
There are coatings for you pistols. They work. I do not care if it is NIB or any other coating. They work. It sounds like your slides might be to a hard casing holster. That makes sense. In the event your pidtol has scratch marks- The bottom line -Does it function? Sure I take care of guns that I think of "Show pieces"- If I had a Jimi Hendrix guitar I would not play it just anywhere. My most expensive custom made guitar, I take great pride in - I do not lug it around. If I needed a pistol, I did not care about scratching. I would buy a 5-600 gun and modify the least amount as possible. Best of luck, Take care, God bless.
I was looking at a Taurus GX4 today. Out the door price-about 325,00. I think it has 3 mags. The trigger felt great. I am A sig P365 & Glock guy. I was really impressed with just the feel of the Taurus GX4. I have a Taurus TX-22. I love it.-I did have some problems at first. I sent it to Taurus =totally free. All GREAT.
7 rounds of .357 sig is not at all “less than” 10 rounds of 9mm. Yeah its less overall capacity, but the power increase is substantial. Rarely ever does a self defense shooting last more than a few rounds anyway so the extra couple rounds is redundant tbh.
@@matthewshelton9573 7 is less than 10. Doesn’t matter how powerful a round is, I’ll take 10 of 9mm than 7 of .357 any day. More rounds I have the more chances I have against multiple attackers, more room for error on my accuracy.
I owned a Shield Plus, Glock 48, and P365. Went back to my Glock 26. The grips are simply too narrow. They like to rotate in the hand. I'll sacrifice a little concealability in order to get a full wrap around my grip. I think he probably has the same problem.

Yes! eBay is great for gun parts! Respect! Plenty of barrels out there for it too! Respect

You’d have a short lived RUclips channel…..

Lotta “experts” in the comments per usual 😆
I'm going to give you the ultimate carry gun.
Buy a Glock 26 frame
Buy a Glock 19 slide
Buy a Lone Wolf dust cover
Put it all together.
I already have a 26L…. No adapter needed. I have the 1 piece slide.
@@spnfirearms Jealous. What can we guess the G50 is?

Great list!

You nailed it on guns that have been around. I have an XD sub compact that I have complete faith in.
Great guns all.

Is the FN Reflex a good gun for CC? I was thinking about getting that one. Is there any reason that's not on the list?
Very similar to 365, main difference being the internal hammer
Nice run down. Have a good day.🇺🇲🔪🔥🌲
I appreciate it! Respect and you as well!
Was wondering if you’ve done a review on the Ruger LC9s or EC9s, and if you haven’t would you consider doing reviews on them?
Yes they are up on the channel!
Thanks for this video
Which defense ammo do you recommend for 9mm

What rounds do you carry??? I carry HST 124 +P…. Another awesome vid 👍🏼
I try to carry a Glock pistol when ever I do carry they all shoot about the same in 9mm
So, what do you think
I really need to get an M&P shield.
I change out my EDC every 3 days
Also love your videos bro. You literally gave me all the info I need for CC. And I know ima make smart choices bc of you. I appreciate that alot.

great video! i was looking at a glock 29 for carry but at 6 ft 7 i have large hands i wonder how it will fit me
Should be just fine imo, that g29 is perfect for a bigger person
Thank you Shawn We appreciate you
Yeah, those 1.0 M&Ps are cool, a little shorter in the grip, but easier to conceal. I'm looking for a 45c 1.0 sub
The 1.0 and the plus are exactly the same height aren’t they?
19x and bell cat and lcp max, my go toos

Taurus G2c in 9mm. Looking to get a diamondback db9 for more concealment!
Any micro is smaller than the g2c. But God Bless you for trusting your life to Taurus and Diamondback. You’re a brave man.

Clickbait on the Max 9 lol
Every time I see a used Glock 27 for a good price, it takes all my will power to not buy it.
do you have a Sccy to review
i have the g2c in 40 ten round mag
How do you like it in .40?
Drawing from pocket is as fast as appendix draw in my opinion and you only need one hand for smooth draw.
Why not just carry the shield plus for work? More rounds, flush fit 10rd mag? Why settle for less
It hurts his hands when he grips it boss
