I had got the Bambu Lab A1 with the AMS Lite. I had an Enders and it is completely night and day. It is so nice not having to mess with leveling the bed. I have not had a single issue. Great video!
The fan should give plenty of circulation/ventilation inside and the printer will only be used for our quick prototype prints so will stay relatively normal temperatures. Thanks for watching 😀
@@playconveyorhow is it ventilated if you have sealed it up? All you are doing is reducing the pressure in the cabinet. For ventilation you need an air intake
loving your old Casio calculator. I have the same model and its still going strong. It was only produced between 1996 and 2000. Mine is soo well used, the numbers have rubbed off!
I was thinking wheels too! Awesome work. I recently got an A1 with AMS and I love it so much. It's basically always printing now, when I'd pretty much only printed a handful of things in the first half of this year! Also got a load of filament in the sale 👀 I'm sure this took ages to make, but it's still worth it. Super fun, engaging and entertaining video! I look forward to the next one!
Ahh thanks Prash! Glad you enjoyed it! The A1 mini has impressed me so much, it just cracks on and prints whatever I throw at it.. Got an A1 in the box waiting to get fired up, excited for that!!
Nice video of an outstanding build! I felt your pain when the cabinet didn't fit under the desk, but I laughed out loud when you tried to fit it the second time!
@@playconveyor Also, what would you recommend for a beginner 3d printer? I want to get into that kinda stuff but I want something that won’t break the bank.
I’m 100% going to take advantage of the sale, but I’m in the fence about whether I should get an a1 mini or a normal a1 (without ams in both cases). Should I save money and get the mini or go for the larger build volume?
If space and budget don’t play a factor, I’d personally always get a bigger build volume just in case you need it one day! 😃 We haven’t unboxed our A1 yet but I’ve heard it’s just as good as the mini!
Got the A1 mini as my first 3D printer 2 weeks ago, it’s been a joy and pleasure with no issues and fun to learn basic CAD Highly recommended and thanks for the great video
That's awesome! I'd like to see you design a setup for the Mini just how you already have done except with some form of noise reduction so I can print wherever and not worry about receiving a noise complaint.
you can squeeze the AMS in there somehow surely? there are some good custom mounts out there if you remove the regular stand. Or strap it to the side now its on wheels. I love the two layer thing for extra storage underneath. (but put some dessicant in the spool areas)
Once, I got an Ender 3 V2 and after just 2 weeks it stopped printing well and overall it was very slow. Then, when I got the Bambulab A1(on sale for £259), it was faster and way better quality. I would 100% recommend Bambulab!
Thank you for another very informative and entertaining video from you. I find your workflow for creating the negatives in Fusion 360 which you showed between 2:41 - 3:02 extremely interesting, especially 2:51 when you "simply" traced the photo + scale reference in Fusion 360. Could you make a separate video / tutorial about this exact workflow?
The a1 mini is a POWERHOUSE even if it is a small printer, it can have the ability to print multicolor too! Any printer from bambu is a great one and are basically idiot proof, easy to use, the mini is cheap and reliable

Absolutely loved how it turned out. I just got inspired by your drawer organizer, especially that under filament storage. Should i make it ???? I am more happy to have that STL. Please send me link. :D
Why not just add more spools on the side like the first one so you can do the multicolour printing? You could also add a glass top to it so you can still see the tools but have a surface to use
