    Great video series to prepare me for Juicebox 48 Pro wired install. I think if you stop charging from the Tesla mobile app or MCU, the charger latch will open. It will allow you to remove both the handle and adapter so the thin door doesn't slam against adapter. I fear this flimsy door could crack, experience a high repair cost, and lead time to get part.

    Need to say the exact name of the app to download. Having the name will tell me I have the correct app. Apps change - if my app is different, having the name will tell me that perhaps I need to listen with a grain of salt. Thanks.

    When adding our vehicle, what’s the difference in “phases”?

    • @evunite1
      @evunite1  3 года назад +2

      @Jay Dauglash thanks for the question! Most home electrical systems are only setup for 1-phase. 3-phase is usually more common in commercial settings and can provide higher power transfer capacity than the single phase charging. It is also important to note that not all EVs can accept 3-phase power for charging. You will likely want this set to 1-phase on the app. What type of EV do you own?

    Did you notice the option to reduce the amperage of the charger?

    Hi there, I've used this charger for a couple of years and then it stopped working. I think it's not connected to the Wifi but cannot find the JuiceBox network you mentioned. Not sure whether this is a problem with the charger or my internet.

    I’m trying to use a juice box at a local store and it’s completely not working. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong but the juicebox WiFi never shows up.

    I’ve had my Juice Box for a year now and I wish I had bought a different brand. The app sucks and instructions to operate the chargers Smart charging is terrible. Editing your cars info once set up does not seem possible. And my X Box app is not the same as what this video shows. Maybe a newer version,I don’t know.

    Good: it does charge my 2015 Tesla Model S 85 from 16% to 80 in about 4.5hrs (240 circuit, 40A with a 50A breaker), Tech Support easy to reach, 50/50 understanding language
    Bad: software crap. Software doesn't detect current battery level, so you either have to set the starting % in the apk on your phone, every time you charge your EV or accept that the error message you will get from the Juicebox is irrelevant. Fortunately the Tesla apk reported the correct information. I am totally disappointed with the software, and solely for that reason, I would never recommend this product to anyone. The information should simply report what charge was applied but to indicate the current level of the battery state and not be able to read the current state is terrible, for all the money the Juicebox Cost, Shame on ENEX

    My iPace was getting some damage fixed. Came back to charge after a few weeks and the Juicebox was offline. Turns out they totally redesigned the app and it's awful. Not intuitive. Ugly and useless.

    This app is totally useless. Luckily, my vehicle app works as advertised.
