Next time ask an anti hunter along and show them there are more exciting things to do than sit on a couch and criticize someone else when they never really understood what it takes to take a great cat like this.
One year late, but cougars try to avoid fights whenever possible because they know that they risk getting injuries, such as those inflicted by a dog’s razor sharp canines. I am not saying that a dog would win against a feline as big as a cougar, but dogs can still inflict nasty wounds and injuries that are severe enough could make it impossible for cougars to hunt for food, which would be a death sentence as they would starve.

How so hound hunting has been going on for hundreds of years and is still no easy task a hound hunter trains his dogs and they are like a family you still have to hike sometimes miles of steep and rugged terrain to get to the tree and you are able to get a better shot using dogs the connection between the dogs and their owner is a deep bond and is just another way of hunting. thats cool if you dont like it but there is nothing wrong with hunting with dogs

i hunt many breeds of hounds i have walkers,blueticks,redbones,english,mtcurs,southwestand and west coast they all shine !
